This is our go-to for Mexican food here in Winchester. We are normally here during the regular busy hours. Tonight we got in about an hour before closing and I was just disappointed. The waiter was friendly and spoke English very well, at first. I'm not sure if it was the hour or inflation but the normal chips and salsa didn't come, I know its offered free, but what did come was about half of the normal quantity. And it was different, watery... maybe someone new prepared it. So, I got some cheese dip instead, and it was also a much smaller serving than what we have been seeing for the past few years. And it was lukewarm, you know... chunky. I mentioned this to the waiter and suddenly he didn't speak English any more. At least not until time for the check. I ordered the Texas Fajitas and the meats were good, the rest was burnt. I meant burnt, shriveled up and sooty. It almost felt like it was new food added to a dirty dish. The wooden plate the hotplate was sitting on looked to have the remains of several prior diners still on the edges of it and the little mitt on the handle of the hotplate was absolutely disgusting. I love this place and hope it was just an off experience for me so thats why the 3 stars instead on no stars. It usually is a very good experience. One thing is certain, I'm not going back at night.
New favorite restaurant! The food is awesome and the drinks are great! We loved everything we got. We will be back as there is more stuff to try! Ask for Nilson for excellent and friendly service!!
Whenever we visit Winchester during the day, we try to plan a lunch date at The ranchero. The food and service is great and our visit in early February was no exception. Both of us had the carnitas, our favorite. Excellent choice!
My experience was phenomenal, my family and I came for a dinner and we received great service, clean place and fast service, I ordered 3 tacos deal with rice and beans and the came out perfectly fine, we defenly coming back soon. Thank you

One of the best Mexican Restaurants I have been to. Enchiladas, burritos, and tacos are fuego??. I got the salmon tacos one night. Came back for take out and got the California burrito and the chicken Enchiladas. Definitely a stop when passing through Winchester. Bar was good too. 10 stars
Minor issue with their glass ware breaking but the staff was extremely apologetic and helping in every way. For that I give them 5 stars because not every place you go to where there is an actual issue and you have multiple staff and manager willing to bend over and help make sure you are ok/satisfied and willing to redo your oder. Will definitely come back.

Very tasty food! I personally enjoyed the fresh guacamole and the spinach and chicken enchiladas! Service was great.
Love the food at this place! I've tried several different dishes and they were all delicious, with generous portions - would highly recommend it!
