This franchise should not claim to be "All American" and military friendly and yet not give a small discount to active duty! It is just an image for them. Food is good, but portions are small for the money. Almost slipped outside of the bathroom. No fault of the staff who are very friendly and trained well. As military members will never return.
Nice clean, welcoming and friendly. But, "NC BBQ" is not merely rubbed and smoked BBQ with a dollop of cole-slaw. Totally different cooking process and flavor profile. Ordered hamburger instead. Informed toppings ONLY lettuce, cheese, pickle, and tomato. No onions (I asked). Hamburger cooked perfectly with good smoky taste, but lettuce was very small "end" piece (not green) of iceberg. Tomato was very small piece cut from top (stem end still attached). Cheese (melted) covered about half the patty. Fries well-cooked, tasty but WAY too much salt! Bun OK (didn't eat it) because it was too much "bread" for only a modest size hamburger without proper toppings. 16 bucks with tea (ouch).
Surprise!! They have green side salads now. Great for us Keto eaters. Although we love the cornbread and other sides we can now feel less tempted and enjoy all the smoked meats. Thanks!!
Always love the food here. And the workers/staff are so awesome! My wife and I were there today and when I picked up our order, I mentioned that we were celebrating that she had just gotten her cataract surgery scheduled to a much sooner date (an answer to prayer) than the August date it had been. So surprised when they brought this dessert to help us in our celebration! ❤️ Plus, we were there for the noon singing of the National Anthem. Take that, Friday the 13th!!
excellent brisket have not had a bad meal there, ever great staff
Unbelievably delicious BBQ! I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with a side of Mac-n-cheese and a lemonade to go. After I got my lemonade, I saw that there were 6 different sauces to choose from and I couldn’t decide which one I wanted. Larry, the gentleman that gave me my to go order offered to help me. He was probably wondering why I was staring at all 6 sauces lol. He explained all 6 in detail, then offered me all 6, labeled in a clear to go sauce container, so I could try them all. I did so and my favorite is the Texas Twang. The Texas Twang on the sandwich was oh so good! The sandwich was pilled super high with quality BBQ that I had to cut it in half and eat it with a fork…. I’m not complaining. :) The Mac-n-cheese was to die to for! It was well done on the edges, gooey deliciousness in the middle, and topped with what looked like panko bread topping. The mac-n-cheese is hands down the best ever for a fast food restaurant. The lemonade was refreshing too! Thanks Larry, I appreciate your amazing customer service, I will definitely be back.
Great place for a chain restaurant. Quick and efficient service with the food quickly made to order. The pulled pork sandwich is superb, with a choice of 6 sauces at the table, so you can dose it with as much or as little as you prefer, in a variety of flavors. The pulled chicken is also excellent.
Our first time and the food was really good. My favorite being the Mac and cheese. We were there at noon when everyone stopped what they were doing to salute the flag with the playing of our National Anthem....it was amazing. Lots of respect for this establishment.
We checked out Mission BBQ for the first time today. We had seen this restaurant in other cities, but never tried it. We are glad we did today. The food was very delicious. The pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich came with hefty portions of meat. The sides were tasty as well. The staff was very friendly. The food was ready rather quickly. The restaurant was very clean. If you haven’t tried this place, give it a try.
This place is classic. Great food and a wonderful staff. Their support for Veterans is top flight. They treated veterans to lunch on the Vietnam Veteran Commemoration Day. Larry and his folks made my day.
