Do not be put off by the outside appearance, inside is completely remodeled and very nice. The food is excellent! I had Enchiladas Banderas, my wife had Carnitas Verde, both were very good! I highly recommend you give them a try!

Food is amazing and always fresh. Amelia, Alexis, Olga and Judith are the best waitresses and bartenders. They are always friendly and nice when we visit. Manolete’s is always our #1 choice when dining out!!

Definitely a new favorite. The food and drinks were delicious. The carna asada tacos were tender and flavorful, my boyfriend greatly enjoyed the lobster tacos as well. The service was prompt, and friendly. The restaurant itself is beautiful, even the bathrooms were some of the nicest and cleanest I've seen. Over all very impressed.
We have eaten here multiple times. The food is delicious and very fresh. The salsa is the best! We come out to Winchester to vigor family and eat here almost every time.
Manolete's offers an up-scale feel for lunch at average lunch prices for a sit down restaurant. The wait staff is always very kind, and the food typically comes very quickly. A gentleman I assume was a manager has come around and asked how everything was on more than one occasion that I've visited, which was a nice change compared to many other local stops. The food is excellent and always beautifully plated. I highly recommend the Molcajete as an appetizer - easily my favorite thing here. I've had lunch and dinner here a number of times before, and will continue to do so, hopefully for years to come.
We will definitely return to Manolete’s gourmet! We had an excellent lunch with excellent service! I enjoyed my spinach salad with grilled salmon. My husband had a brunch burrito which was very large with a lovely presentation. I posted several pictures. One is with our lovely server Judith bringing our dishes to the table. Food is freshly made including the mixed drinks. The wooden booths and tables are handsome and cozy. This is somewhat of a hidden gem on Valley Avenue in an older shopping mall. If you love fresh sustainable, local food...check it out!

This is the absolute best Mexican restaurant in Winchester. We moved from NoVA and after trying a few places were starting to feel like we would have to drive a solid hour in order to sit at a good Mexican restaurant. Then we discovered this gem. There is not one thing I've tried on the menu that I haven't loved. The hot salsa, the fish, the steak, the scallops, the prickly pear margarita, everything was absolutely fantastic. Upscale dishes, reasonably priced, a great atmosphere and decorations, and impeccable customer service from the person who greeted us to our waiter, the bartender, and, I am assuming, manager who came to check if all was good. Everyone was nice and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I definitely recommend this great find.
