Delicious food, fun atmosphere, great service! Excellent choice for a quick bite, family outing, or beverages at the bar.
Service super slow, with multiple wait staff standing around chating and not bussing tables etc. Had to ask for everything. Waited for over an hour for our food and it still hasn't arrived. Won't make this mistake again.
Wonderful food and service was great, even though it was busy and short on staffing, food came out fast. Would always recommend more out door seating.
Ordered a rueben from doordash and the meat was extremely tough and very bland, very little cheese and thousand island dressing also.... simply horrible tasting and half asked thrown together with no love or care....
I went to Macado's this evening and the service was horrifically terrible. I waited ten minutes before the bartender or server said anything to me. Finally after almost fifteen minutes the bartender acknowledged me. He took my drink order and walked off before I could ask about their specials for tonight. Needless to say I will never go there again!!!
Walked in the rear entrance, waiting for about 10 minutes before we were told we had to go upfront to be seated. Staffed seemed irritated that we were there, also seems like they were extremely busy when all we could see was 4 tables and a few customers at the bar. Sat and waited about another 10 mins before we received drinks & got to order. Food came out quickly, and was extremely good. Service here is definitely the reason for a 4/5 star review. Appears to be a clean restaurant.
Having been to the original in Blacksburg Virginia, I had high hopes. This place was a disaster. They did not have enough staff, had to turn many people away at the door. The food was decent, however my sandwich was a full two or three inches shorter than my wife's sandwich. All that aside, it would have been fine except the server dropped racial epithets near the end of our meal, and then tried to justify using the word in public. Gross behavior, do not recommend.
One piece of medium sized Fish and a basket of fries for $12 seemed pretty steep. Nothing super compelling about this place if you don't care about a alcohol menu.
I understand there's a staff shortage....but when you leave me standing in the entrance to your mostly empty restaurant for 10 mins with my entire family only to come out and mumble to me that you're not seating again until 4:15 because you had a busy morning and your kitchen needs time to catch up.....terrible customer service
Went to Macado's last night. Had a wonderful waitress (Gina) and the food was delish!!
