Definitely not worth the price. The scallops and shrimp were overcooked. Everything else bland. The yum yum sauce helped it a lot.
If you can avoid this place unless you want overpriced overcooked undervalued meals. I will not return.drinks were terrible too. sayonora
Walked in after seeing decent reviews for hibachi, but very few reviews for sushi. The sushi was good. A couple of things that need to change immediately. Ichabon needs real napkins at the table instead of these cheap napkins. They need real unfiltered Saki; not from a machine. The server needs to know what she is selling when it comes to drinks. The edamame beans need to be made properly such as add sesame oil, chili oil, butter, garlic, and sea salt with red pepper. This place could be so much more if they tried.
Absolutely love coming here! The food is top notch, the prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. They are great with kids too. Every time we are in the shopping center, the kids always ask for Ichiban!
Not quite what I expected. I received a soup & salad. The soup was bitter & the salad was JUST lettuce? The "fried" rice was just regular white rice, the veggies were really bland & they gave me wayyyy more chicken than Filet Mignon. The ginger sauce is not good, but the white sauce was delicious. Way too pricey for what we got.
I got the chicken and shrimp hibachi. Wasn't bad but its not the best I've had. The sauces are weird. The soy sauce that came with the dumplings was really thick and nasty. And it was A bit pricey for what we received.
I like it when they cook fresh food in front of you....and the fire was a plus!!!good healthy food
Valentine’s Day is also our wedding anniversary and we wanted to treat ourselves to a nice lunch. We had not been to Ichiban’s in years. It was amazing! The service was great, everyone very attentive. Our cook was funny, friendly and did a great job with our food. It was cooked perfectly! Delicious! The portions are huge, we both brought home food for later. We will definitely add Ichiban’s back to our dining list.
First of all.. was that a joke?It was like the Great Value version of hibachi..hear me out- the beginning was great. We got our drinks pretty quickly, soup and salad was delivered promptly, and then.. the chef took over.. things went south.I expressed that I have a (deadly) food allergy to mushrooms, can’t eat them.. so what’s the chef do? Cooks all of our vegetables mixed with mushrooms & proceeds to prepare my steak and chicken in the same area on the flat top as the mushrooms. Yay.When I reminded him, I can’t have mushrooms, he proceeded to give my food to the other couple at the table, who said they didn’t want it.. I’m laughing right now..I’m pretty positive my wife’s moscato was mixed with apple juice.. $7 a glass..Their ginger sauce is like.. thick and creamy? So my wife and the woman in the other couple asked if they have normal ginger- to which they brought us salad dressing.. ok.The moment our food was finished cooking, they brought us our checks, mind you, we’ve not revived a single refill on our drinks at this point. So my wife speaks up & says ‘I’ll have another apple juice moscato’ and the manager came to deliver it- she asked for a dessert menu, and was told ‘take your time’.. ok.. lol! While trying to rush us out, they delivered an updated check immediately, and the manager came to pick it up within 20 seconds. When I tried to describe to experience to the manager, he laughed and said ‘oh sorry’ and we still paid full price. No show.. and apparently, if you have a food allergy, no dinner either.Needless to say, we will stick to our comfort zone for hibachi, and continue giving Kobe in Martinsburg WV our business.
It was my birthday and the people sing to me. I enjoyed the food and the little show that was performed while cooking. Will go back there again. I give them a C+
