The Staff was very friendly and attentive. We had BLT, Cheesesteak, and a chicken cheesesteak all with Tots. You are greeted at the door and you choose where you want to sit. They come and take your order and then you eat. Then food was hot and every delicious. The tots were hot and crispy. My cheesesteak was a beautiful sandwich. Thank you for a great meal.
Service was good except the waitress didn't act like she wanted to be there. We could see her when she was taking orders for the drive through or on the phone and she would ask questions like what do you want your sides to?..etc. she would roll her eyes and make faces, she doesn't know we seen her but I just thought if she didn't like her job then why be there. She showed no personality interacting with us.Food was really good. Portions are big enough to fill you up.
Been to this restaurant several times and have not been disappointed. Food was fresh and delicious, service fast and friendly. Generous portions. Will definitely eat here again.
It provides a unique experience, with the restaurant being themed after the 40s and 60s styles. They have a TV that plays older black and white films. Strangely, the restaurant has almost always been empty whenever I came in. This is most likely due to it's very hard to see location, you would not easily see it from the roads near it. No food there is more impactful than their sourdough bread grilled cheese with two different cheeses. It tastes amazing, and is the best grilled cheese I have ever had. No other foods are particularly special though.
Great first time experience. Steak sub was on point and I couldn't eat anymore. The shake of the day was great as well. The server was nice and they greated us on our way in and made sure we had a good meal. Thanks!
Hands down the worst dining experience I've ever had.I had read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try and support local business, but wow did I ever make a mistake. I was eating a what I had thought was a normal dinner. I took some photos while I was there to post here on this review. Well, I guess that was odd to the staff of the restaurant. When the waiter came up, he oddly inquired with my wife and I if "Are these your children" at first that did not strike me as odd but looking back after the events that happen, I now know that he had thought that my daughter and son are not my children (the only thing I can think of is my daughter is mixed). On a trip to the restroom, I guess my concealed weapon was showing (I have a license to care this and am a law-abiding citizen). During the rest of our time eating the server came multiple times acting nervous and was asking our oldest daughter how things were. If we were her mom and dad and so on. (I now suspect they thought that they were not my children).A bit latter 6 yes 6 Sheriff’s came in and walked back to the staff as two of them came over and started to talk to me. I told them immediately that I had a concealed weapon and a license to care. The Sheriff’s procured to inform me that there was a complaint and they were called because "there was an odd acting man (I guess they meant me as my family was the only customer in the restaurant) taking pics and such". I let the Sheriff know I had taken pictures to post on a google review. After a bit of time the Sheriff handled the situation very professionally and "sorted" out the problem. I must say their interaction was very pleasant given the situation. They came back in time and informed me that I had been asked to leave the restaurant. I let them know I still needed to pay the bill (and I did) and then my family and I left.I will never spend my hard-earned money at a restaurant that treats people this way. Do not support such a place that treats people this way. This is not the way to treat people and is very disturbing to be treated this way and have police called on you while you are trying to have a family dinner.
This place has some of the best burgers around. Everytime we come in, the staff is always extremely friendly. The beef is always fresh and taste great . We have twins with autism and the love it. Also make sure you get some delicious ice cream or shakes. This is definitely a place we have made a regular place to stop in. It is hidden behind the Sheetz gas station, so don't pass it by.
We loved the food. The Carolina classic cheeseburger was yummy, just the way it comes. Wife had a lil steak & cheese with a lil pimento burger on the side. The buns are really soft but not so soft they fall apart. Fries don't come salted, that way you can salt them how you want. Frozen custard and strawberry shake was pretty tasty!
Literally the worst fast food experience I've ever had. The lady in the drive through made us repeat everything several times. When we got to the window, they gave us our drinks and they were pure carbonation with no syrup. The returned them and they gave us worse drinks than what we began with. Then we got our food and it honestly was the nastiest fast food I've ever eaten. We returned all of our meals after leaving from the drive through. Please do not waste your time coming here.
When this place opened in Elizabeth City a few months ago I was very excited. We lost all of our Steak and Shakes a few years back and I'd been missing having a burger joint to go to. I'm very sad to say this place is garbage. The meat in the burger is grisley and without flavor. The lettuce and tomatoes are not fresh. Not a pickle in sight. The fries are generic frozen, tasteless, and dry. Also cold with no salt. I did get a frozen custard shake that was good, but it didn't save the experience. There is a McDonald's across the road. I'll go there instead from now on.
