I love coming here. I just moved to the area a few months ago and had a hard time finding a local coffee shop I liked. Once I found Hideaway I quit searching. The decor is warm and inviting. The coffee and teas are fantastic. And the management is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone living in or visiting Winchester.
The Hideaway Cafe is a treasure in our small town. The owner Victoria works hard to ensure that it's a safe space for everyone!! It's truly a family affair with her partner Greg greeting you from behind the bar. He knows your name, and often times what I'm hoping to order that day. Their Veggie Sandwich is one of my all time favorites and I order it regularly. It's one of my favorite spots to grab a cup and do some work away from the house. You won't be sorry if you give them a try!
Hideaway Cafe was the first restaurant we went to before moving to Winchester and it quickly became our favorite spot. From the beginning, the owners made us feel like part of the family. Hideaway was where we sat to decide which house we would buy, they catered for our "pandemic wedding", and it's still our favorite spot for taking friends to show them the best of Winchester. To top it all off, this Cafe has supported so many community efforts, from collecting food for the Kids Club of the NSV, fundraisers for Ukraine, and supporting organizations for adults with disabilities. What more could you want?
I want to thank Victoria, Greg, and Lydia (The Boss) for creating an inclusive and welcoming establishment. For several years, we’ve visited Hideaway, always feeing satisfied from our experience. The fresh coffee, delicious pastries, and outstanding service is truly unmatched. Special shout out to all of the INCREDIBLE staff who make each time better than the last. I walked into Hideaway as a customer, and left feeling like a part of the family.
We were surprised to find such a nice cafe as this… clean, pleasing interior and very nice breve (latte with half-n-half). The staff gives the cafe a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. Two thumbs up!
Hideaway has the best coffee locally. Their iced lattes & cappuccinos are the best I've ever had, and their food is always fresh and delicious. I wish I could go here everyday for breakfast!
The coffee tastes great and the sausage egg and cheese croissant tasted great too. The location was cute and cozy. The employees were really nice. I wish they would've served my coffee in a mug, I expect it at cafes, it's part of the experience. Also, the sandwich was brought out on a paper plate, again it just takes away from the experience. The sandwich was not great visually either, their website shows a much better looking sandwich. Just minor derails that could add to the overall experience of this great cafe. I'll definitely be back because the taste was great for both items.
I love Hideaway. Not only is their food and coffee delicious, but they are the sweetest. I order through DoorDash frequently as I don’t get much free time with my work schedule and they still show appreciation.
I love this spot! The employees are always really friendly and there’s a welcoming vibe in the air. I love coffee and I’m not too picky when it comes to drinking it. My boyfriend HATES coffee, but will down a vanilla latte from Hideaway like someone is going to steal it from him! We love stopping here on weekends when we’re out shopping.
Excellent, friendly service. Ordered a hot latte with oatmilk and it was wonderful. Gluten-free, vegan option of fresh salad including quinoa, pine nuts, and avocado was a treat. Easy parking when I have stopped and warm, cheery place to meet friends.
