Food was good, service was poor at best
We tried cracker barrel after getting married on the 8th of July. I wanted to try something different and was looking forwards to eating here. The greeting by the manager and the staff was wonderful especially our server Savannah, she was awesome and so was her sister Susan ah. Both girls were lovely a real asset to the restraunt. The food was amazing and I left very happy. A big thanks to all the staff.
Great food. Great service!
Generally we (my children and I) rave about Cracker Barrel. We love the atmosphere, the food and the staff are usually great! Last nights experience wasn't the greatest but we are still fans it just will be a moment or two before we jump at calling it our "go-to" family restaurant. An employee quit while we were there, causing a bit of a dramatic scene and leaving us worried that more could unfold, a bus boy (bless his poor heart) accidentally dropped a glass and sent chunks of ice and glass bouncing off of my foot (I totally wanted to hug him though) and our food was lacking in several departments. The salads no longer seem to be a blend of lettuces and are a mountain of iceberg and sadly they no longer carry their amazing French dressing. The burgers were very dry and the bread it was on was tough for some reason. Fish was great, chicken was cooked well, the cole slaw and broccoli were great as always and the biscuits were amazing. Our waitress was busting her butt and did an amazing job as well. Shout out to who I am assuming was the manager on duty last night, she handled the employee who quit/got fired in a great manner. As embarrassing as the situation was she kept her composure and did a great job of keeping things moving along after the ordeal. We will definitely be returning in the future with hopes that things will be back to their norm.
My daughter and I stopped here for dinner as we were traveling through the area. To be honest my last couple of trips to a Cracker Barrel were not the best. This location was just the opposite. The food was delicious and the service was really good (I believe our server was Leigh Ann). My daughter had a vegetable plate which she said was really good and I had breakfast. Passing through again wouldn't hesitate to stop again.
It was a busy morning at this location, but the staff didn't miss a beat!Everyone was on top of their game, kind, courteous, and provided quick service. The food was delicious, and our waitress refilled our drinks before we even realized they were empty. The manager was working right alongside her staff, and you could tell she was stressed but handling the chaos well. We had to stop and tell her what a great job she was doing! We enjoyed a fantastic meal with our family thanks to their kindness and hard work.
Served dried, ugly bowl of soup beans. There was even dried bean soup on bottom of dish. I was very tired after being on road traveling for hours and did not accept different bowl that was offered. The manager was nice and was being helpful, but I just didn't want to waste more time. I had just waited a while for the first bowl. Needed to get back on road.
1st time, last. TIME! Went to order at the restaurant as they didn't answer the phone, 15 mins. To get a server to take my simple order bowl of soup, biscuits with butter and honey, side of the squash casserole.. 20 mins wait...order came out, only 3 butters, no honey, no napkin or silverware.squash casserole was miniscule at best and cold! It was a 7 min. Ride to my hotel...very disappointing!!!!
We travel in a motor coach, so Cracker Barrel is our go to stop for great food and service. I especially love the store! I always find such unique items and gifts!
Very good. Nick(St-nick) was our server. It was close to closing time and we had just got in ,we had been driving all day. He got us seated and took excellent care of us. I can't remember when we were treated so well at a restaurant. I don't know how your system works but if there are bonuses gift cards or raises coming Nick should get one.
