I didn't plan on going here, just a random decision as I was driving by. I'm glad I did!!!The food was phenomenal and service was amazing. It's a bare bones taqueria, no glitz and glamour. It reminded me of the places I would go to in California. Very affordable too. 10/10
Happened upon this place by accident. The food was the best Mexican food I've had in a LONG time. Everything we had was amazing but lengua tacos were out of this world. Excellent food at a low price.
Want authentic? Go here. Go for the really great food and don't turn your nose up at the atmosphere. The seating area is plain, but not cramped, and our server was very attentive despite juggling five tables as well as carry-out orders. Tacos are like the ones you get on the streets of Mexico, and everything tastes home-made. Everything was very flavorful and certainly authentic. Thumbs up.
Absolutely beyond words incredible. Literally went for the first time on Friday and went back again on Saturday for round 2 within 24 hours. Truly the most delicious tacos. The chicken fajitas were delicious (perfectly spiced, lots of chicken and peppers and onions, full of flavor). Also got chorizo burrito and steak burrito and both were incredible (and gigantic!). Everything was delicious and the ingredients were higher quality than I've seen in many other local restaurants. The staff was SUPER sweet both times as well. 10/10 hands down. Best tacos in Winchester for sure❤️
We loved Antojitos! The food and service were great. It's a small family-owned business with just a handful of tables that were half filled on a Tuesday. Will definitely return when we find ourselves in Winchester. Definitely try the guacamole - it was so fresh and delicious. We also had chicken enchiladas covered in mole, combo fajitas, and their homemade flan and tres leches cake. Everything was delicious!
Very solid tacos. My kids and I tried a variety of tacos and sopes and they had great flavor, especially the cabeza and carnitas. The al pastor was also quite good. I really liked the smokiness of the red hot sauce--probably adobo/chipotle pepper based. The green was a bit less flavorful. Neither was too hot which I liked, though the red had some real kick.
This little place creates authentic Mexican Cuisine in a very big way.The service is friendly and attentive and the prices are excellent for the amount of food served. The pictures are of two of my favorite menu items. The small(nothing small about it) Chorizo Quesadilla/ $4.50 and two Tamales De Rajas (vegetarian) $2.50 each. Their Salsa Verde is excellent but if you prefer a little heat, their Red Sauce is wonderful.Open 10:00 to 8:00 Tues. through Thurs.Fri. and Sat. until 9:00 and Sun. until 8:00.You need to give these folks a try. I am confident you will be glad you did.
Authentic MEXICAN FOOD! Tried the AL Pastor tacos and Sopes. Amazing! Highly recommend you come here if you want real tacos! ?
The food was really good the people were even better??
Just a stroke of luck that I found this place… got great reviews from locals. Mexican cuisine is amongst best in world. I have experienced it in Mexico, southern Texas, southwest, and indeed all over US. I was shocked at how affordable and delicious the food was. I was able to get one of my favorites, Menudo, which one rarely finds in US, except at the best authentic restaurants. The chorizos and carnitas tacos were amazing. Can’t wait to be back for more. I highly recommend!
