A real treat to visit a privately owned restaurant with conscientious employees who have a stake in it's success. That makes a difference in the quality of everything. We had fried oysters, Sonny delight scampi. Delicious.

My family enjoyed the food so much we came twice this year on our vacation! Food is good, Drinks are good. Friendly employees, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!

My wife did not like her platter. Said had no flavor. My fish also had no flavor. Kids French fries were undercooked, almost raw. Service was just okay. I will not be in a hurry to go back. Too pricey for just average.

So, so good. Fettuccine with shrimp and Linguini with shrimp and clams. Service was great. This is one of the places we always go when we travel to Williamsburg.

We having been coming to the Whaling Company when on vacation for over 10 years. My wife and I had our usual Tempura Shrimp and Seafood Combo. We always request Ben for our waiter. He is very personable and remembers us. The Whaling Co is like being at home when we're away on vacation. Highly recommend. Ben is so good we had a trophy ? made for him as our Waiter of the year. Thanks for all the years of great service Ben.

If you are thinking of stopping here you will not regret it! We make this our Saturday night spot every year when we visit Williamsburg. The food is great and the desserts are to die for!! Eddie is a wonderful waiter with a great sense of humor. We will definitely ask for him by name next year!

My husband and I stayed three nights in the hotel next door. We walked over the first night and found out about their excellent happy hour. We had fried cod for dinner and clams for an appetizer washed down with .99 cent frosty Bud Lights! The staff was awesome and the bar was lively. We went back the next evening for more Buds and appetizers. Excellent ?

This restaurant was amazing. As soon as you walked in the mood was clear and set. There were dim lights, boat decorations, and cool trinkets around the restaurant. Our server (Ben) was very sweet and descriptive, plus accommodating of my granddaughter’s allergies. I would highly recommend going to this restaurant while in the area.

Wonderful experience. To begin, the decor absolutely fits its name. Our waiter was Eddie and he was great. He was friendly, joked with us, and knew all about the selections and the different ways they could be prepared. He asked about our preferences and then made appropriate suggestions. We followed his guidance and had a delicious dining experience. In fact it was so good that we went back 2 nights later, asked for Eddie and got 2 more delicious meals. One more kudo to the restaurant: on the second night I left my sweater behind. I didn't realize it until we were packing the next morning to leave Williamsburg and it was too early to contact anyone. The next day I called the restaurant, left a message for Mindy and a bit later she called me back. My sweater had been found and she agreed to mail it to me. When we got home 5 days later the package with my sweater was in our "held" mail container. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Used to be one of the best places in towns for good food, now it's just mediocre. The waiter was terrible. He kept talking in 3rd person. Very strange and had to tell all about "his" menu item.
