We absolutely love the Jefferson Restaurant! My kids love the ribs. I love the filet mignon and baked potato. We all love their salad. We go back over and over because of the owners and their servers. Out of this world!
Female staff donned with period garb added to the ambiance, but the effect was diminished by the make staff in only contemporary clothes. The food was good, and the option of sampling the unusual peanut soup was not only helpful, but fun. Candace, being professional and personable, made our experience delightful.

We got a reservation here after doing some research and we were pleasantly surprised. Our party of 8 had: Peanut soup - tastes like peanut butter, quite good Hot Crab Fifi la Creme - great Fried Chicken - dark meat but tender Smithfield ham - a bit salty and dried. Middle was moist and perfect Spare Ribs - great Special Virginia Dinner - loved it Wheelchair friendly. Owner and staff were so helpful.
This place is great. I'm not sure why someone wrote a bad review, but let me tell you this is a family run/owned business and they are the nicest people. Food was great!! Stop in and see for yourself.
The service was excellent. Our food was delicious and served promptly. Quiet, homey atmosphere. Our party had seafood and southern dishes. Enjoyed by all.
