First visit earlier this week, there was no host to seat us. Second visit yesterday was excellent. Host was present to greet you. We were seated immediately. Waitress took our orders. Mashed potatoes were cold but ribs and broccoli were good. Broccoli was tender, moist and not soggy. Whenever that happens, I give the restaurant high compliments.
Not only was our order wrong (no sauce on chicken sandwich and hot sweet tea) We ordered curbside, after it was late by 10 min, I went inside. I was informed that they were so short staffed they didn’t have anyone to bring it out! (Would have been nice to know that!) The front desk person went back to get the order, didn’t apologize, just handed over and bye! Of course we didn’t know that the order was wrong until we got it back and opened it, so we weren’t able to rectify any of that.
I was there a week ago with my mother and a friend of ours. When we arrived the restaurant was fairly empty as it was just right before the dinner rush. We were seated promptly, the waiter in our section had only one other table beside us. He came 4 times to that table to check up on the customers. Meanwhile we sat there for 30 minutes and he did not even acknowledged that we were there. We ended up getting up and leaving to the Red Lobster down the road where we received superb customer service. We will not be visiting this TGI Friday's again as we were completely ignored.
They were short staffed, but not busy so we had to wait 20 minutes for a table, the manager Clint was very nice. We were going to be seated in the bar area, but we where curtly told that because all in are party weren't over 21 we couldn't be seated. I wasn't upset because I understand that it is the law, however it was the tone and loud manner in which we where told! The manager was very apologetic about the way which we were told we could not sit in the bar area. Ivy was a very good server and our orders were correct and to us speedily!
The fried green beans were really good - came out piping hot, but my mudslide was not a frozen mudslide. When I said something to the server, he told me that you have to specifically request. I can understand that. What I couldn't understand is even if I didn't request that it be frozen, shouldn't it have at least come with ice. So I was served a warm mudslide topped with whipped cream. At least it looked pretty. ? I was brought a cup of ice and poured it over ice. Made all of the difference not I've never had to request that my mudslide be served, at the very least, cold.
This location in Williamsburg is great place to go for a great meal with excellent service. Our waitress, Hannah, is outgoing, sweet and attentive. The manager Matt is also very friendly and attentive. The entire staff seemed to be happy to be there and it shows. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted great! My 1/2 rack of whiskey glazed ribs were delicious! Our server was very nice, and efficient. Music was 70s which we loved. Everything was clean
Ordered the New Loaded Southwest Potato Twists as an appetizer tonight and let’s just say even though they were okay they were cut paper thin and very soggy and raw to the taste. Very unhappy with this item as an appetizer. Definitely thought it would have come out like chips. Hoping my entrée will be better.
Great service, Great food close to the hotels and other tourists attractions like Busch Gardens and Water Country USA! Perfect stop on vacation or for your lunch break if you’re a local. Manager Matt was awesome and our server! Definitely will be back
Had to track the workers down to get service in the first place. Then i had to track down the workers to pay my bill. I was the only person in the restaurant when i came in. I waited ten minutes before getting up to find someone to get my bill. In all seriousness, I could have left and been long gone before anyone noticed. I won't be back.
