What a restaurant WOW, great customer service and the workers are awesome. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who's near by as well with their food. I would give them more then a five star if I could!
WOW!! ? Fresh Mexican food in an intimate setting. Everything on the menu is spectacular! Just find something that sounds good, order, and sit back & enjoy. ? Make sure you try something new, you will not be disappointed!!On our second visit-The Salsa for the chips is uniquely YUMMY, the Carnitas Michoacanas is excellent, the Lengua Huaraches absolutely divine, and the Chile Rellenas phenomenal!! ??
Everything at here was phenomenal!! The food was some of the best I've had on the east coast. All the food was homemade and divine. My friend enjoyed the chips and salsa the most and I loved the homemade tamale and horchata, but everything we ordered was yummy.Amanda was very nice, patient, and accommodating. Thank you :))We hope to be back soon!!!!
We came here while on vacation in search of great authentic tacos and cuisine. We definitely found it! The service was awesome. The food was more than we could have imagined! Everything was fresh and homemade. Amanda, Mary, and the rest of the staff made our visit so wonderful! When we return for another trip, we will definitely be back!
Our waitress was very welcoming! They carried my husband's favorite beer, Victoria. We had the Mexico City street taco special and they were just like my husband remembered from his trips there. Fresh and seasoned well, not too salty! (I added refried beans to my order in the photo)
We stopped here based on other reviews and it did not disappoint. We had the carnitas torta, Chile relleno, and tripa tacos. Best we’ve had in a long time. Thank you Amanda and staff for the amazing food and service . We’ll be back when we come through again soon.
Hands down, Amanda was superb! I was undecided when I got there but she made some meal recommendations that made my overall experience very enjoyable. She answered every question I had and even suggested which drink would complement my authentic Mexican dinner. I’m visiting Williamsburg for only a week, but I will definitely make Taqueria Maria Bonita my go to restaurant whenever I’m in the area and want Mexican cuisine!
Hands Down .. The Best Mexican food and service on the Peninsula !! The Mexico City tacos are a favorite for our family ! We are regulars ! If your stopping by for the first time ... make sure to try the tamales !! Definately homemade! ! It is a very clean establishment , the customer service is outstanding and everything tastes fresh - including the sauces !This is high quality food at affordable prices ! You can expect excellence !! Dont miss out !Oh ! ..... and the sweet ice tea is super good !!
Came to Taqueria Maria Bonita for the first time last night and it definitely won’t be my last! The food was fantastic and very fresh— closest thing I have found in the tidewater area to the Mexican food I used to enjoy when I lived in San Diego.The service was top notch, too. Amanda was able to sit us right away despite a very busy Friday evening. She was on top of everything and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask! Her menu recommendations did not disappoint either.
We decided to have lunch while we stayed at a nearby hotel. The food was incredible and our service was outstanding. The margaritas were amazing - you can’t go wrong with ANY flavor!!! Trust me … we tried them all!! ? Amanda was so nice and helpful with all of our selections. We told all of the people at the hotel that they had to have dinner while visiting. We decided to come back again 2 days later just because we wanted to have the food one more time before we drove back to Florida! If you’re in Williamsburg and are looking for incredible Mexican food, this is where you have to eat!
