Ate dinner here for the first time while on vacation. The food is phenomenal, service AMAZING and friendly. If you want a margarita ask if Eric is working. He was our server and made the BEST margarita I have ever had in my 48 years. The portion size is great and price just as great. We are going back tomorrow.
For being a restaurant attached to a hotel, this place is pretty decent. It's your standard American/Mexican food. But they had some great options on the menu, and I LOVED the torta I ordered. Probably the best I've had in a while. My wife wasn't a big fan of the salsa, but I enjoyed it. Overall not a bad place to have a bite to eat.
Food was pretty good but personally wasn't a fan of the service. Which I know doesn't reflect all staff but this was my encounter with my experience. Barely was checked on and when the server finally did come by we did need some items, napkins, refill drink, fork for my daughter cause it wasn't in the normal rolled up napkin. Which the server preceeded with "I'll try to remember that" then we wouldn't see til 20-25 minutes later.
Mari provided exceptional service. She brought us fresh jalapeños and the home made hot sauce. The food was very good and will definitely go back when in town.
I absolutely enjoyed my experience here. I came on my anniversary, and our waiter was very nice (Andrea). The food tasted so good that it reminded me of home. I got lengua tacos, and my husband got torta cubano. By far, the best Mexican food I’ve tasted in Virginia. The prices were reasonable, and Andrea definitely deserved the tip she got.
