The staff was nice and welcoming. Pull chicken Sandwich was good but them sides was lacking any luster. No kinda seasoning. I can’t really do much salt but it had none. Hella bland and not worth buying. Mac and cheese tasted like it was mayo or something or some basic frozen grocery store .
From my picky middle kid.."this was the best BBQ food he's ever had". My oldest and I got a full rack of ribs, my wife got the pulled chicken and my kids got the corn dog and chicken tenders... they were all cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the beans and potato salad, and the corn bread was melt in your mouth delicious..I didn't even know corn bread could do that!! The ONLY negative is that they ran out of pulled pork and brisket..I spoke to the staff and their response was that they ran low from fathers day weekend and there was a party there when we were there and they don't want to make too much food and have to reheat it so they focus on quality over quantity and I completely get it. We might go back this week to try out the brisket!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Love the atmosphere, The customer service there was very friendly. The food was tasty just that for the price the sides and portions were small. But overall it is definitely a place to visit and they support local vendors and also have like a country Store atmosphere selling a variety items tourist and locals as well will enjoy.
Everything served on my visit looked great, but that is about as far as good went. The "one-note" bbq sauce tasted out of a bottle and accompanied ALL meats. The brisket tasted like pot roast and not tender. I have had better sausage from the grocery. The ribs would have been better without sauce although the spare ribs were cooked very well (probably cryovac). The sides were not impressive as well; collards out of a can, tasteless beans, and blah Coleslaw. Although, the fry-basket was on point (hence the second star). Excellent curds, hushpuppies, and fries. If you like or have never tried Burnt Ends, don't order them here. You will be seriously disappointed! And all this for top dollar! A restaurant you may want to avoid.
Very nice, well-kept, clean and well decorated restaurant. The service is very friendly and welcoming. The BBQ, however, is remarkably average. It’s not bad by any means. But it’s a long leap from great. If you’re hungry I’d say it’s a decent option - just set expectations accordingly.
I had the three meat platter. Pulled pork, beef brisket, and a link. The link was really good. The pork and beef were okay once I added the sauce. The sides were potato salad and Mac n cheese which were good. I just think the meat need a little more seasoning. The restaurant was very clean and I liked the retail part where you could buy jarred sauces and pickled items. Nice staff and food came out fast.
Very good BQ. Lots of choices including Pulled pork,brisket, chicken. Many side choices available including baked beans, fries, mac and cheese and coleslaw. Staff is friendly. Order at front but good is brought to the table. Free parking. Worth a visit.
The resturant was clean and the staff was pleasent. The pulled pork and smoked sausage were OK. As another reviewer mentioned the brisket is not good. I tried the mac & cheese and baked beans as sides both were totally uninspired, as was the BBQ sauce. I was hoping this place would be better than the one it replaced. It is not. I would not recomend eating here.
Super delicious BBQ! My husband and I enjoyed a late lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. There was a few others eating, but it the environment was great. The food was delicious too!! Service was top notch as well. We will be visiting again soon I hope!
A nice BBQ place. They offer a great selection of meats at very reasonable prices. Very relaxed atmosphere. There are no waiters or waitresses, yet, you can still dine in. Food is absolutely fantastic (White Cheddar Mac and Cheese is phenomenal!!) Great place to eat by yourself, with your significant other, or the whole family.
