Custard is so much better than ice cream! They have chocolate and vanilla and a couple flavors of the day. OH, SO GOOD!
Great way to beat the heat on our July vacation to Williamsburg, VA. So good, so many choices! We tried the Brownie Sundae, a root-beer float and a peanut butter shake. All were delicious!
It was good and decently priced. My family of 6 ate ice cream for around $35 and they have a kiosk for you to order.
Yummy! I enjoyed the turtle sundae. The pecans made the sundae, a perfect blend of custard, hot fudge, carmel, and pecans. The strawberry gelato with vanilla custard was creamy, fruity, and refreshing, said my niece. My husband loved the strawberry shortcake. The dog loved his pup bowl. The ice cream cones were large. Everyone in our group enjoy their custard.

If you missed a flavor you really wanted they do freeze the leftovers in quarts and pints as well.Portions are also generous so be sure to come hungry!
I love Meadows for their custard, but things didn't go so well when I got my order. When the lady gave me my artic swirl, there was a crack right down the middle of my cup. No joke. The crack caused my ice cream to leak and i had to tape it shut with tape when I got home. Hopefully, next time will be a better experience.

I eat at The Meadows in Hagerstown, MD frequently and didn't realize there was one in Williamsburg, VA until I stumbled upon it. I couldn't believe there was another one! And, they have the same wonderful custard offerings! This is the best "creamery" ever...in both locations. I am in Williamsburg once a month and stop in each trip to "get my fix" of this wonderful custard. It's a must-stop if you are in the Williamsburg area. They have a drive-thru or lobby. Definitely worth the stop.

Oh, this place is the best custard in The burg!!!!!It tastes like the kind I had when I was a kid. We both got a small, cones,I and had to make sure she didn't give us a large. Unreal. Price,quality,and quanity were so fantastic. Next time we are skipping the drive thru and going inside!!! And the menu is great too. So much to choose from!!! And. ... they ate open all year long!!! Always time for Meadows!!!!!❤?
