I have been a frenquent customer of LaTolteca for many years. It is my wife's, and my, favorite Mexican restaurant, in the Williamsburg area. Lived here for 29 years and tried them all. The food is good, the prices are reasonable, and specials are plenty. Have never had a bad meal, service, or made a complaint about any dish ever served. Not saying it can not happen but it has never happened to me. I not only recommend it, I enjoyed a meal there this afternoon. It was as satisfying as I expected, as usual.Drop by anyday and feast on the best Mexican food around, IMO.

Me & the girls were on a overnight trip to Williamsburg. We had lunch here. The service was very good & the food was delicious. They had the best salsa. I would definitely go here again.

This was my first time there, and I don't normally do a review until after I eat at a place a couple of times. Since it was the first time, I did something basic such as marinated chicken tacos and one ground beef taco. The marinaded chicken tacos were excellent, and definitely overstuffed. The place was nice and clean, and super busy for a Thursday night. I'll absolutely be going back again.

Coming from San Antonio, TX, you expect a good Mexican restaurant. This restaurant does a really nice job of meeting those expectations. The chips that were served were really good and authentic, but I think the salsa could use quite a bit more kick. It tasted more like Pace from the grocery store, but that seems to be typical in this area. My meal was very delicious and the atmosphere felt like my typical visits to Mexican restaurants.

I have been going here since I have been a little kid with my family. It is absolutely the best Mexican restaurant in Williamsburg. The family that runs the restaurant is fantastic/so friendly and it is great to support a local business. Highly recommend for anyone!

Delicious food, quick, and awesome staff.I had the Flautas - one chicken, and one beef. They were both delicious. The pico was very fresh, and the churro for desert was great as well! Best Mexican food I have had in a long time!

Great place to eat and the service was awesome.

When we entered the restaurant around 5:30 pm on a Sunday evening, they were not busy at all. But by the time we left, the place was packed! The service was top-notch. Our waiter seemed to be the manager/owner, and he was serving tables, mixing drinks, seating guests, and working the register. It was a well-oiled machine. (There were other servers too.) The food was great, and we'd definitely visit again.

Food was good. Restaurant was very clean. Waitstaff was attentive.

Friendly and attentive staff. Small restaurant so the food is quick and perfect temp. Kids meal was larger than anticipated. We were feeding a toddler but it would have been great portion for an older kid.
