Very efficient service and relaxed atmosphere. On top of that, the real reason we came here was the food and it was top notch! Just enough spice, not overbearing and full of flavor. All salad and pico de gallon was very fresh! Best Mexican food in a long while! I had the burrito chipotle, my wife and one child had the Burrito Mexicano and my daughter had the burritos fajitas and it was all very good! I would recommend again and again!
My husband and I were looking for a restaurant with a shady patio. La Tarrazo was a quiet, shady spot along Richmond Rd. We can’t say anything negative at all. Jose was very attentive, had good suggestions, and of course the $2.99 Margueritas on tuesdays were the easy decisions before looking through a most extensive menu.
Seating: It took a while for us to be attended, and as well as other customers because there was nobody in the front desk. When we were getting seated, the lady offered us whether we wanted to sit inside or outside, we decided outside! The chairs were not metal ones, they were patio chairs so they felt much more comfortable.Food: The food was amazing, delicious and dynamite. It was definitely different from what I’ve tried in the past - ground beef for the Nachos Supreme. It was still good and tasteful. Although the guacamole was a bit pricey, it was lovely that we got to customize it! Great portions of food that we took plates of take out! Great prices in the food.Service: The lady and the rest of the employees were very nice and friendly. They were very helpful in bringing us napkins, to go boxes, additional straws at our request. For the FIRST time, I’ve had someone come to us and prepped the guacamole how we wanted it. That is pretty creative and something lovely I experienced here.
Was visiting Williamsburg and craving for some good Mexican food . Thank god , we chose la terraza. Unbelievable is the word. The food was so so so so good and not so expensive too.We started off with fresh guacamole made by them:l. A guy came to table and made it live. This is probably one of the best gaucs I have ever had . So fresh and amazing taste. They also give chips and salsa as a compliment. Make sure u don’t have too much of it , as it can fill ur tummy ;) dinner food was awesome . Chicken fajitas was out of the world. Veg chimichanga was super. Quantity was a lot for a person. We ordered 3 dishes for 4 persons and we still couldn’t finish:) fantastic service and quick food . They also have a bar inside for some nice / relaxed drink. 5/5 ⭐️ I could even give them 10/5 ! ?

Food and the atmosphere was okay. I have been in many Mexican rest and they are always loud but not La Terraza so I like that. BUT when we sat down at the table there was a misunderstanding between the waiters because we asked for green sauce but they brought us red and the waiters started arguing in front of us, something that did not seem right to me. We order the Molcajete and La Terraza special it wasn’t a big thing. So if you looking for something different than fil-A or Golden Corral, you should try it ahh prices are also okay too??
I ordered the chimichanga dinner, my wife ordered the enchiladas. We also ordered the guacamole with everything. Chips, salsa and a white cheese dip are brought first. I also ordered a sangrita which is where sangria meets margarita. The food was brought out in a timely manner. The chimis I personally did not care for the steak in them, it was not bad just not for me. I will try chicken next time. The drink was great.
We were not impressed at all. The food was just okay, we’ve had way better. My husband didn’t even finish his food which is totally not him. The chips seemed slightly stale but we did enjoy the white cheese dip. My one son can’t have dairy. We asked the server if the chicken tenders had any dairy and he said he had no idea. When asked if he could check the box for the ingredients list he seemed like he didn’t want to. He returned to the table and he couldn’t tell me either way if they had diary or not. The bathroom was gross and smelled like there is some sort of leak issue or bigger plumbing problem. I will say the sweet tea was very good. We will not be returning.
Rolled into Williamsburg hungry and we love Mexican food, this place did not disappoint. The $2.99 margarita special was delish, got a little buzz, not a watered down special. Everyone loved their meal, generous portions. Good service. Beautiful bar. Definitely recommend!
I went there for the first time today for lunch. Although I have passed this restaurant many times, and have seen its crowded parking lot, I have not ventured in until today. The question is... What was I waiting on? I ordered my standard Mexican dish that I use to determine if I will like the food. I ordered fajitas. This is a dish that can easily trend toward the Ordinary or even the bland, but not here. The flavors were spot on, and had just the right amount of spice so that that you enjoyed each bite. Oh yes, I will go back. Great food and service. My car will just be one of the many in the parking lot.
