Very nice experience.Decor and atmosphere help make for an authentic experience.1st time I'd ever eat here and loved it.Chef was entertaining and friendly. All the employees were very nice.Restaurant seemed very clean.Food portions are good for the money you spend.
We have been going here for over 20 years. So disappointed in today's visit. It has been a while since we dined here. We decided to go in for sushi today. The carpets are incredibly dirty. They were not at all busy yet the waitress seemed annoyed to have to wait on us. My husband now has stomach issues.... I will just leave it at that. On the plus side the women's restroom was fairly clean...2 stars for that.
Fantastic experience. The children at our table ranged from 18-12 years old and they all loved the chef. He was so entertaining and made us all laugh. We went for an early dinner at 4:00 and had excellent service. The food was perfectly prepared for everyone. Our meals were: lobster and shrimp, steak and shrimp, chicken with no soy.... and all of them came out just right.Loved the volcano adult beverage to share. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
We got sick from the take out food.We were on vacation at Williamsburg and tried the following from the menu:Age-dashi tofuMiso soup ?House salad ?Teriyaki salmonKatsu chickenCalifornia rollOther than Salad and California roll, the rest of the food were super salty and tasted so yucky ? It left my throat burning the day after and made us feel sick for two days. It was awful.

Great fun. I recommend going with a big group. 5-8 people so toy can have the table to yourself. The soup and salad are always tasty. I love the yummy yummy sauce they put out. I did the filet, the others in my group had chicken, and shrimp. The filet was wonderfully cooked and packed with flavor. The rice they cook in front of you is sublime in flavor. The chef puts on a great show with flying eggs, fire ?, and fun. Not cheap, but so worth it.
Nice place. Good was good, a little overpriced. You are paying for the joy of watching your food cooked in front of you. Fun though.
Might be the worst hibachi experience ever. Food was very bland and over cooked and chef was not interactive at all and somewhat rude. Waitress was also rude (when she was there, which wasn't often), and another waitress ran into my wife's chair and her 3-4 times almost knocking her out of chair. This waitress never said apologized or even acknowledged her. Don't waste your money hear. Very poor meal all around.
WARNING: If you are a person of color I suggest not coming to this restaurant. My children and I were ignored the entire time while at the table while he laughed and joke with the family of his own ethnicity sitting next to us. I had very noticeably smaller portions than everyone else yet I had the most expensive plate (lobster, shrimp&chicken) the food was over cooked and bland. It was very sad watching him joke with the other kids and ignore my sons. I will never go to this establishment again. (I paid full price even though I shouldn’t have because I wasn’t about to stoop to their expectations)
I have always loved habachi but I came here for the first time and I could tell the meat was no good since it was already browning before it was placed on the grill top. It tasted spoiled too, so I couldn’t finish the meat. I enjoyed everything else.
