So glad Lightfoot has a Jersey Mike's now! I like their veggie sub and my hubby likes the club Italian style. The staff is always friendly and fast. Not all Jersey Mike's are as quick or gets my order right. This one is and does!
This was my first time EVER eating at a Jersey Mike's. I had a coupon so I looked into them before going. I downloaded the app just so I had some idea what they had and saw that I could get rewards. I didn't order on the app because I wanted to see how it worked and to be sure to get exactly what we wanted on the sandwiches. First, I thought it was strange when I just ordered the sandwiches and was told to go pay without finding out if I wanted any extras on the sandwiches. (Then being concerned they were going to make the sandwiches without me having imput, I forgot about the coupon or rewards or anything. ) Then they let me tell them what to put on one sandwich but they made the other "in the back" without any input from me. And the sandwich THEY consider cold can't be warmed at all. I saw no mustard option. When I got home I remembered the coupon too late but saw that I could put the receipt on the app, but when I tried it said it was either ineligible or already linked to an account. That's when I realized that my receipt says "duplicate" which makes me wonder if they are linking receipts to an account of their choice for free food. And also I believe they charged me too much for one of the sandwiches. When I submitted a complaint online into the company they had a place for a picture of the receipt but the button for attaching the file didn't work. This whole thing was a disaster. And they acted like we should know everything about them and the way they do things even though they had to have realized quite early on that we didn't know their system. And if they wanted you to pay first why do they have you order, go forward, then back up again to tell about what you want on the sandwich. The sandwiches were OK, not wonderful. The bread was the only thing that was very good. If they would just trade bread with Subway, I would be happier with Subway.

Went in for lunch today. Of the five people in line in front of me, three were not wearing masks. I told the staff that,until they could enforce the mask ordinance,I would be taking my business elsewhere.

My husband went to Jersey Mike's last night to pick up subs for the family. He ordered a regular BLT with red wine vinegar for me. When he got home and I went to eat my sub, it was a bacon and mayonnaise sub. How do you forget two of the main ingredients on a BLT, the lettuce and tomato? The sub was slathered with mayonnaise. Very frustrating!
