Some of the best Greek food I have had. Great little place, wife and I were a little sad that we didn't make it back for a second time. Prices are really good, especially for the amount of food you get. We go to a church greek fest where we live and the food at Gyro Palace Cafe was better. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I had a Gyro with extra meat, it was delicious. Only wish I had ordered a 2nd one.
My girlfriend and I stopped by a few weeks ago to eat in. When we arrived, the place was very quiet and empty. We stood at the counter for a few minutes before a man came out of the back while grumbling "someone will be with you" we waited a minute, then another guy came out and started tending to something else behind the counter before helping us. He then hands us menus and says that he'll be over to take our order. We immediately did not feel welcome or comfortable. We went to the table and sat there for about 5-10 minutes. The man who "helped" us started to do whatever he was doing before he initially helped us, and then went into the back again. We ended up leaving without saying anything, and went over to Spartan Gyros instead (delicious, and great service over there, by the way)Fast forward to a few days later, we glady wanted to give them another chance so we just ordered off of Grub hub. While the food arrived quickly, it was average. I had Zues' platter, which contained a skewer each of chicken, pork, and gyro meat. All of which were dry and bland. Needless to say I was disappointed, again.
Authentic Greek cuisine at very reasonable price. Just good food by a local owned family. Why pay double for these fake Mediterranean and Greek chains opening when you can get fresh authentic Greek.
We got there at 945pm and the place said it closed at 11pm. When we showed up they said they weren’t sure if they could make us food. We listened to the cook and waiter argue about whether or not they should make us food. We walked out and they never even got back to us. Terrible customer service.
This review is LONG overdue. I wish I could give fifty stars. I eat here all the time. My food had never been old, my food has never been cold, my food has never been over or undercooked. I’ve only ever had great customer service. They recognize me as a regular and always greet me when I come in. I have tried their protein wrap, bruschetta (my favorite. I order it EVERY time I order), gyros, Greek sodas and dolmata (stuffed grape leaves in case I’m spelling it wrong) the food is fresh and it’s good. I absolutely love their food and would recommend it to anyone!!!
Wonderful experience. First time customer, first time using on line ordering. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Was not disappointed. Will return often for good Greek food. Pleasant staff and excellent service. Thanks.
Thought the food was above average, but not spectacular. I like the mom and pop feel. I’d go here again especially in these trying times to support the local business.
Food is great. OWNER used to the lax pace Williamsburg and WILL to SPEND.moral of story he can be rude. But ran into the wrong one??
This was the first time ordering from GYROS I honestly have no idea what a GYRO is or what Greek food taste like We reached out because it was free delivery Every else has gotten outrages Although we ordered American Subs Hamburger and chicken it was fresh and hot MOST of all it was delivered fast and friendly We will definitely order again and start trying some Greek food...
