Visiting Williamsburgh area from NYC and we stumbled across this amazing gem of a restaurant! It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food was exceptional. There were 8 of us and no one was disappointed with their order. We came back two more times and no complaints at all. By far the best restaurant we have been to in Williamsburg area.Oh and the staff is very nice and pleasant to deal with : - )
very nice woman, really good sushi (tuna roll and shrimp tempura maki/special and veg fried rice). not a local but if i were this would become a regular spot
Wanted to stop by for lunch, website said was open, arrived and door was locked with a sign stating they were doing carry out only and a phone number to call to get the door unlocked, another sign required everyone to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status even though mandates were lifted several months ago. Recommend calling before coming so your not disappointed. Honey Butter across the street gained my business instead.
I love this place. I have been going here for years and have always been impressed with taste and quality. The owner and employees are extremely kind and know me well because of how frequently I go. When I come home from college, this is one place I always go to. I even have their number save in my phone for easy ordering. Super great California roll, tuna maki, edamame, and fun specialty rolls (love the pineapple princess). Highly recommend!
Delicious food! Some of the best sushi I've ever had.
Refused to serve us if we did not wear masks. Could not even walk the 10 ft to the table. The door was locked. Maybe that was appropriate 18 months ago but not now.
My friends and I got a pretty large order of sushi and dumpling appetizers for take out. It took a bit of time, but the employee was very communicative about it! The food was delicious, we devoured twice our weight in sushi and were super satisfied. Best sushi I have had in the area! Along with the food, the owners and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
This place is a nice small restaurant, with a lovely staff and amazing food. They have a huge menu that’ll fit any diet (fit me as a vegan with a great veggie roll) and they seem to be a small family owned business. The restaurant itself is very pretty and after breaking a cup which you’d expect to make the staff angry, the woman who was serving us was so kind and didn’t seem to mind. I would love to go here again because it really is an amazing experience and I would recommend it to all.
Common name with uncommon, delicious sushi! I’ve been here several times and I’m never disappointed. The freshest tuna ever! This restaurant is my first choice when I’m in Williamsburg because they take all the precautions for someone like me with a crustaceans allergy.
Tuna is so fresh! I also love the vinegar in nigiri!
