Great experience from our waitress through the owner Joseph Scorpo. We had Chicken Parmesan and Chicken Marsala and they were both wonderful ! Highly recommend !

I cannot recommend Giuseppe’s enough. We were visiting from out of town and went here on the last night. Our waitress was so attentive to the fact that we had a toddler - offered to bring his meal out early and everything. The food was so good as well. We had the scorers appetizer and the special appetizer which was a thinly sliced tuna. I had the salmon with risotto which was so flavorful and the salmon was cooked perfectly - my wife had the meatballs which were tender and moist. Both of our desserts were fantastic and the prices were so good for everything we had. If you’re visiting I definitely recommend it for a nice but family friendly dinner!

This is the best Italian food in the area. Anthony is great and so is the staff. Love this place and highly recommend it.

Delicious food and fantastic service! On top of that, they make everything fresh and had a great understanding of cross contamination for those with Celiac and other food sensitivities. They were extremely accommodating and even with our changes, the food still tasted great!

If this is the NUMBER 1 Italian restaurant in Williamsburg, all I can say is avoid Italian restaurants in this town.My husband and I ordered take-out, told it would be ready in 15 minutes, but although we arrived on-time, the food did not come out for another 10 minutes. I ordered the veal marsala, and could not figure out why it had ham until I rechecked the menu, and it did say it had spinach pancetta included....never heard of it with veal marsala, which is my favorite order at Italian restaurants. I had requested to substitute the pasta with a veg, and thought the spinach was the veg, but there was also zuccini and broccoli STEMS...something you either keep attached to the florets or throw out. Everything was submerged in a soupy marsala based 'sauce', I don't know why the veg was in the same container. I said I wouldn't care if there was a slight upcharge for the change from pasta, and I would have been happy to pay for an extra container, and avoided the veggies swimming in the 'sauce'. The veal itself was thick, not pounded thin, as is usual for this dish, and the breading dissolved in said sauce. As for my husband's meal, he ordered his fav, veal parm. As with my veal, it was thick, not pounded, heavily breaded and extremely salty and he couldn't eat it and threw it away. The red sauce, what little there was, was sour. The pasta was overcooked, and ended up in the garbage, too. The meals came with a choice of salad or soup, and we both opted for salad, which was okay, but very small portions, almost all lettuces, 1 cherry tomato and 2 slices of cucumber. Although the menu did not mention bread, I have never not had bread included whether I dine in or take-out in any other Italian restaurant.

My wife and I came here for dinner with good friends. Our server was Carey and she was magnificent--excellent service and very friendly! My wife and I both had the Veal Josephine, our favorite entree here. Our salads and entrees were delicious and nicely presented. Giuseppe's has earned the high rating they have!!

We phoned at the last minute and were so happy we could get a reservation. We were greeted right after being seated by Joe (his son is the owner now) and couldn't stop laughing, he was so friendly. The food was outstanding...I had the chicken Josephine which I would get again, our friends had the eggplant parm and my husband had the Bolognese. All were great, the house wines were so good also, a lot of thought went into picking them! I always read reviews before picking a place and the reviews were spot on. Definitely go if you have the chance, you won't be sorry.

Love this place! Great food! A bit pricey, but well worth it. I had the eggplant parm. Doesn't come with pasta. I had to order it. The bread was fresh and hot. The lentil soup is fantastic! Great service, and Giuseppe stopped at our table while making the rounds. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great little locally owned restaurant. Fresh homemade meals. Incredible hands on support from the owner Joe. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. We didn’t have a reservation and it was just two of us but they made it work

Our son has severe food allergies, Tree nuts, peanuts, legumes, soy, coconut, sesame, and sunflower. Anaphylaxis in 1 minute. Consequently, we cannot eat out. However, we decided to do a family vacation to Virginia this year setting me on a mission to see if there were any restaurants that we could possibly visit. (normally I cook everything) Enter Christina Scordo, owner. She returned my message the same day. So personable, understood completely food allergies and the difficulties faced at times. We visited Giuseppe's both days we were in Williamsburg and considered staying an extra day just to eat there again! Family owned. We were greeted and treated like royalty! Service was exceptional. Food was perfect. Christina's husband spent 10 minutes on the phone with his supplier to ensure the pepperoni was safe!! Who does that!?!?!?!? They do!!! They catered to my son's allergies right down to the pan used. He could not have been happier!!! If you are near Williamsburg, there is no other place to go!!!!
