Went here on Anniversary trip based on positive reviews from others. I was not disappointed! Friendly greeting from everyone we encountered. Fast service. Clean restaurant.Good food. We had pancakes, eggs and bacon for my husband, sausage for me. It was all delicious.
While staying in Williamsburg I noticed many pancake restaurants so I googled the top ones. Colonial House came up number one and let me tell you they did not disappoint. We were greeted and seated immediately by a very friendly gentleman maybe the owner as I saw his picture on the wall as we exited. Our server Matthew was amazing! He was very attentive to our needs of 3 not so patient children. When he took our 5 orders he didn't even write anything down and when our food arrived it was exactly what we ordered. The food was done in less than 10 minutes and Wow was it good! The pancakes are by far the BEST we've ever eaten fluffy and delicious! We will definitely be back when we come to Williamsburg again and I recommend staying away from the chain restaurants and eat here I promise you won't regret it.
Great, friendly service. Food was very fresh and they didn’t ruin the pancakes with too much sugar. The French toast was the best and the eggs were perfectly prepared. Love the potatoes, thinly sliced. Really, really like that they butter your toast in the kitchen giving it time to melt. No idea how much I appreciate that as I hate it when I try to spread frozen butter on cooled down toast. We will certainly be back.
The food and service at Colonial Pancake House were both exceptional. My wife had a vegetable omelette, and I had blueberry pancakes with sausage & eggs. Man, those blueberry pancakes were so light, fluffy, and tasty. There was a flavor in the pancakes that I could not determine, maybe vanilla or something else. But did it ever make them taste so good. This is a place I will definitely be visiting again.
This was an amazing experience the food was super good and amazing service I had a bacon egg and cheese and it was delicious I would definitely come again soon
We stopped in for breakfast before leaving Williamsburg. Eggs cooked to our liking, French toast, and blueberry pancakes were all good. Friendly servers.
Absolutely a must visit when in Williamburg! My kids said "mommy give them 25 stars!" Best pancakes I've ever had, and seeing as that's my absolute favorite breakfast food, I've had many different ones! Pricing and serving size match and they had no issues with a custom order for a picky kiddo! Service was fast, yet we didn't feel rushed, everything was provided before we even had to ask. It was amazing!
The service is amazing and friendly! Thank you for making us feel so welcome Chris! We both got the specials. The Eggs Benedict was so good! The country fried steak special was delicious and the biscuit was so fluffy! I am not a biscuit person and even I liked it! As mentioned, the service was great and quite fast. I can’t recommend this place enough. I can’t believe it took 4 trips to Williamsburg before we finally came in. It has become my go-to breakfast place now!
With so many breakfast places to choose from, we chose Colonial. Service was so fast, wait staff very friendly. My eggs were cooked perfectly, my husbands blueberry pancakes were delicious and our friends had the omelets which they loved. I would recommend a stop here.
Great staff, great food, reasonable price.I had the scrapple, eggs (over easy), and grits. My husband had the “taco-sized” breakfast burrito. We shared the banana nut pancakes! So fluffy and yummy!Grits have a little more pepper than I expected but still good!We arrived at 8am on Sunday, were seated immediately and had food by 8:20am.Would recommend, will return! Great place!
