Fish and Chips were great! Hot rolls with butter were delicious! The calamari appetizer was tasty and had fried pepperoncini incorporated! Wonderful! Carrot cake was large enough to share, but you may not wish to! Chelsea, our server, was phenomenal! She was personable and attentive and was truly the icing on the cake of our entire experience! She is a treasure to this establishment!
My parents live in Williamsburg and have loved this place. We went a few days ago and it was so disappointing. My father has been I’ll and the only thing he wanted was the bacon wrapped scallops and he was told, “they’ve been off the menu for a while.” Use a sharper to scratch it off. He did not ask for a coke refill, was brought one and was charged for it. It’s not the $2, it’s the principle. The “skewer of shrimp” was five small, with no skewer to be found, for $12. There’s so much potential and so little execution. It’s too bad, it’s a great location and there’s opportunity to treat locals well.
Went there for dinner with my daughters. We are on vacation so we rely on Google, Trip Advisor etc. to pick out restaurants. This one was great. We all loved our meals and the prices were reasonable. The server was very personable. Would definitely recommend.
The food was pretty good and the service was good as well. This place has a wide variety of dishes and has something for everyone.
Went to grab a sandwich an hour before our movie and was turned away because we didn't have a reservation (for 2 people mind you). Open tables throughout restaurant, including outdoor patio. Ate at the Pho place across the street and were seated immediately. Order was ready in less than 15 minutes which gave us a half hour before the movie. Looked back over at the Grill and seating situation appeared to be the same.i counted at least 6 empty outdoor tables alone and definitely no line of people waiting to be seated. Needless to say I was not impressed and will likely never attempt to eat here on any future trips to Williamsburg.
Food and service were quite good. They don’t stint on quality. Gentleman who was our server was very attentive. Hostess welcoming as well as patrons - nodding and smiling as we made our way to the table. Some “seniors” but not all just folks who wanted a variety of choices. No elegance -
Absolutely love each and every time I come here. We have had the pleasure of being served by Chelsea and Mathew (aka Duffy) on several occasions, they make you feel like family. Not only are they amazing but the food is amazing too. You must try the calamari, cheese steak egg rolls and the Risotto. They also have some great options for specialty drinks.
Excellent experience from beginning to end. Hostess and server were fun and friendly. Philly rolls were as amazing as promised in other reviews (and what swayed us to try Center Street). While salads and pulled pork were also fantastic, the huge star was the brisket. Fork tender and full of flavor. We'll definitely be returning.
Outstanding food and service! We had appetizer platter with spinach artichoke dip, chicken tacos and Philly spring rolls DALICIOUSSSS! We also had caprese burger. Everything was spectacular! Chelsea was our waitress and was terrific. We will definitely be back soon. Great restaurant!
Wow the food here is out of this world!!We had the Philly Egg Rolls as an appetizer & they were very very good.I had the Cordon Blu and it’s the best Cordon Blu I’ve ever had! (Don’t tell my mom) The green beans it comes with I usually don’t like BUT these were so flavorful! I ate them all. My plate was so clean they really didn’t need to wash it……Hubby had the Pecan crusted Pork Chop which was also delicious. Had the Vanilla Crème Brûlée for dessert and that was also good. We will definitely be back. I have got to have that Cordon Blu again!!
