This place is great. Have been here several times. We live in Newport News but when ever we are some what close we stop. Everything we try is great. Which they were closer.
UPDATE:This location didn’t accept cash as a form of payment, they removed frozen custard from the menu, both soda machines are constantly out of everything but water, no soap in mens bathroom, the app scanners don’t work properly, and they close and lock the doors at 7:45pm daily not 10pm.Original review:This location had been hit or miss for me regarding food quality and customer service but after my most recent visit I’m feeling optimistic about this location! I ordered a junior BurgerFi cheeseburger, a drink, and a frozen custard concrete. The food was great, and the customer service was the best I’ve had anywhere in a long time! The gentleman who took my order comped my drink after telling them about my last experience at this location which he didn’t have to do! They also made me a custom Oh My Chocolate! concrete (O.M.C!) which hasn’t been on the menu in years! Also you can customize any concrete just ask them what mix-ins they have! If you want an O.M.C! Just do the following:- order a caramel fudge bar concrete- ask for chocolate frozen custard instead of vanilla- ask for chocolate syrup instead of caramel- add Oreo and chocolate sprinkles if you want(Ingredients: Chocolate frozen custard, brownie, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, chocolate sprinkles, and Oreos if you want)I’ve noticed a lot of the negative reviews for this location are for to-go or delivery orders, but I think you’re going to have a much better experience if you order and eat at the restaurant!
Went today at noon and they weren’t open. No sign on the door and no answer on the phone. Drove from Gloucester to get a BurgerFi burger!
I am so very disappointed in my order. Just got delivery through GrubHub. I ended up paying $42 for two burgers and one order of onion rings….and the food was barely edible. First…not one of the items was correct. The onion rings were burnt and so salty, We couldn’t eat them. My daughter’s Plant based burger was wrong. They put toppings on there I selected to leave off….there was maybe two drops of ketchup and another tiny drop of Mayo…..and the clincher is….it was only HALF of a patty! When I checked mine…it was two mangled burgers on a bun with cheese and no other toppings that I ordered. The burgers were dry and I kept biting into tiny little pieces of gristle or fat. Very, very dissapointed and I just don’t think it is right to pay so much for such poor quality. Will not be giving them return business. UPDATE….Since they “care” so much, I contacted the customer care team linked below. It’s a joke. All it is is another “rate your experience” form to submit. Never contacted by anybody with even a lousy apology. HORRIBLE way to treat people who are giving you their money!
In the middle of a snowstorm in Williamsburg Virginia, I decided to go to BurgerFi and pick up some food. I had been wanting to try several of their burgers since I had never been in a BurgerFi before. The three gentleman working were friendly and the place was spotless. I highly recommend eating there but I decided to get mine to go and head back to try the food.So the first thing I ordered was the cry and fry. It is the onion rings and the French fries together. The first thing I chose was the onion ring and I have to say the crunch is perfect, the flavor of the onion is perfect, but the flavor of the batter is just a little off from what I expected after having eaten onion rings all my life everywhere else. Now I got over that by eating the second one and realized that it's just a slightly different flavor than normal, but it's actually pretty darn good. I would have to give the onion rings here. A would recommend minus.And now for the French fries. They were delicious and I give them a would recommend. They are a lot like five guys. They have the skin on them and they're very tasty.And now for the burgers. I tried the cheeseburger first. I did add onions to the burger because I love onions on a burger. So after having taken that bite I thought this is a really good burger and I would have to give it a would recommend minus also because it's quite tasty. It's slightly different than everything else on the market. So I was happy.So then I tried the conflicted burger. I have to say I did not expect it to taste that good. It had the veggie patty along with a hamburger patty. I was astonished about how it added a unique flavor to the standard cheeseburger. It was like adding a hash brown potato to a hamburger and it was delicious. I have to say I give it a would recommend. Yeah I know. Weird huh.So then I got to the Breakfast all day burger which actually does have a hash brown on it. At first I was astounded about how great it was because I really couldn't taste egg or the hash brown but all mixed up together It was delicious and I have to give it a would recommend.If I was in the mood for a hamburger and BurgerFi was in the vicinity I would go there and have one of these. It would depend on whether I wanted the breakfast burger or the conflicted burger. I rate them higher slightly than the regular cheeseburger. Even with the onions lol. Fries are great. Onion rings are good. Family is staying at the Great Wolf Lodge and picked up some burgers. It’s exceptionally convenient to our location but honesty wasn’t in love. Flavors were good on the Swag and CEO but overall left unsatisfied: the burger just felt small. Kids got an array of meals and the tenders were the best choice. The one thing we all agreed on were the onion rings, dangerously good, 1 or 2 is all you need! I won’t be back simply because there are other options
The food at BurgerFi was no doubt good. This particular restaurant had stellar service to go with it, which is great. The fries are top notch, but you are better off getting the burgers instead of the chicken sandwich. I've had the burgers on previous visits at another BurgerFi, and I think that while the chicken sandwich is decent, their burgers far outshine them.

I'm basing my five star review on their shakes. They are amazing. Truly awesome!The burgers are okay, but I wasn't terribly impressed.The ingredients for fresh but the size of the Patty was quite modest.The fries were good, but do not waste your money ordering a hot dog. I repeat do not order the hot dog.The location is great, the speed was super quick and the staff was friendly.Trust me on the shakes. Enjoy!
My husband's bacon cheeseburger was good. My swag burger was dry and fairly tasteless despite all of the extras. The bacon on my burger was so hard that it was almost inedible. The fries were soggy and not seasoned. The onion rings looked great but sat in a sea of grease at the bottom on the cup. Plus, the onion rings were not peeled correctly and I had an entire ring of tough onion skin with no onion. On top of that, the place was not clean. Footprints on a greasy floor and
