Yes, May 8, 2022 was Mother's Day and my wife's birthday. So, let's call early and get a custom chocolate cake to be picked up in the middle of colonial Williamsburg. I ordered a 7 layer chocolate cake for $75 and it was worth it. Moist, chocolaty, perfect. With my wife's name on top. In fact, if you are wanting something totally special pick an item and have them write your loved one's name on it. You will not regret it.
this place is cozy and nice . we had a BLT and it was great . My wife loves coffee and she said it was really good . the service was great
The menu here is limited with the strength being the quality of the food and drink you receive. Seating is a challenge especially during busy hours. What you receive is a value for what you receive. Definitely a must visit when you are in the Colonial Williamsburg area.
Always a pleasure! Although it’s a busy location they consistently manage to get me in and out quickly! Drink of the week is always a bonus! Thank you for your wonderful services! ?
This place was absolutely delicious with huge portions! The day that we visited, the staff was obviously low staffed and over worked, as they had to turn people away to close the store early. However, the food was amazing! They said they had no water to drink…which was strange… but the atmosphere was friendly and there was a lot of variety in the food. Not bad pricing for the portions.
Ariana, the “manager” at Aromas, so confidently told me….”Aromas no longer gives out water, they sell bottles of water”. After spending $25.00 on coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Sitting outside, looking at a street with plastic road barriers and an extremely run down, Blue Talon Bistro, it struck me just how downhill the entire Merchants Square Area has become. The Sidewalk between Blue Talon and the college dorm is to be shut down too. The Blue Talon Awning is faded, the French flag looks left over as a revolutionary relic. It’s gone beyond charm. I can imagine Don and Jerry would be displeased. What happened to the standards that Colonial Williamsburg used to require of its tenants. I believe those to have gone downhill too. It’s such a shame. The retail managing firm, Thalheimer's, should coach their managers.
So delicious! We had the brie stuffed french toast which was AMAZING, the breakfast burrito (also amazing), and the James River omelet (the crab one-- soooo good)! It was all really delicious. We got take out and I'm glad we did because it was ready in <20mins, walked in and out with it immediately, and it was just as delicious. The place was busy but the flow seemed to be going well. The honey do latte was off the charts delicious! Highly recommend!
Amazing customer service. Great coffee and breakfast. Big fan of their dark roast Beautiful location. We had to visit it twice on our way to the beach and on our way back north. Such a unique place with a small town vibe. Love the early morning locals get together. The grits and garden egg scrabble Superb!! A must visit.
