Upscale but affordable sushi place. I go all the time after work. No complaints
Zushi is one of my favorite upscale sushi spots. They serve a wide variety of hand rolls, sushi rolls, sashimi, dinner entrees and more. The food is absolutely fantastic every time, and I always get a creme brulee to end it off. Definitely recommend this spot. Its a bit on the pricier side but well worth it!
Just finished our first dinner here at Zushi, and to say we were blown away is an understatement. Our service was phenomenal. We were told they were short staffed for the evening and could expect some delays. We didn’t see any. Sushi was incredibly fresh, and the wasabi was bursting with flavor. The owner came and greeted us and brought our 1 year old son some steamed rice and avocado. What an amazing experience and dinner. We will be back!!!!
Chef Kevin Chang is a winner!! Zushi is divine. Everything that we had was delicious. Service was friendly and fast which is impressive on a busy Valentine's Day evening. My boyfriend started with the gyoza which arrived fried to perfection with a dipping sauce that was vinegar based and perfectly complimented them. I started with sushi. Fresh spanish Toro, California Uni, and two rolls the Zushi and the Pain in the neck. All delicious and did not need anyhing added. For entrees we got the NY strip teriyaki and chicken teriyaki which were grilled beautifully and accompanied by seasonal vegetables and rice which was sticky and soft . We finished with the creme brulee which was a simple yet wonderful end. The cracking sugar top with a vanilla custard that was just the exact proportions you want for each bite. I am thrilled to return to find the same shining diamond of a restaurant that was here the first time I ever first tried his masterful delicious meals. I will be back and I will always bring my appetite. The staff as always is amazing from Ray and Kevin to the waitstaff who are passionate and fantastic
If I could give ten stars I would! Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is incredible as well. Everyone is so welcoming and pleasant that it completes the overwhelming experience you will have here. We have eaten here several dozen times and every time we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you zushi for being our go-to date night place!
Meals were not all served at the same time, my husband's dinner did not arrive until everyone else had finished eating. Check was wrong 5 times! Grilled octopus under cooked but was flavorful
It was strange at first, the ambiance. But then I realized that the staff are required to remain quiet and stoic as to keep the class of the restaurant high by not interacting and therefore not interrupting your conversation and peaceful meal. The sushi, service, and desserts were amazing.
Absolute love Zushi, hands down best sushi in the Hampton roads area, fresh ingredients, complex flavors. Must try.
It was my birthday and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was great, the food was exquisite, and the Chef/owner came out personally to wish me a happy birthday and to greet EACH guest/party. Couldn't ask for more and despite not knowing we needed a reservation....we were seated within 30min or so. Not bad and the drinks are equally delicious! HIGHLY recommended and is worth every cent!
