My girlfriend and I are regulars at this establishment. The food is amazing and the wine pairings are exceptional. This special occasion was to celebrate her birthday with her girlfriends. The staff was on point as usual. Id asked for Anthony, the sommelier, to start them with bubbles, move them through entree and dessert with appropriate wines, and he was rock solid!!!! They girls started with a charcuterie board, which is always shifting and always amazing!! They had lamb chops for entree with Parm truffle fries, and finished with the ever exceptional skillet cookie. It must be noted that while I wasnât there, the staff was amazing at accommodating my request for turn key service. Youâll not find better service, better food, and better wine options in Virginia Beach.

Date night on a Friday, first time dining at Yiannis. Overall it was very good. Food was great, and service was excellent. My only critique was the wine situation. They use one of those systems with the automated wine dispensers, where you walk around the restaurant to different wine stations, and can order 1 oz, 3 oz, or 5 oz. pours using a card that's coded to your table. But there's no description of the wines, so you're basically shooting in the dark, unless you find a wine you already know. Yiannis should provide short editorial descriptions of each wine in their dispensers, which should be easy considering how knowledgable they are on wine. That would make it a much better experience. So bottom line, we'd go back, but not rushing back.

The food and wine are always exceptional, but this bread pudding and coffee ice cream dessert was superb!! Service is always above and beyond.
