Has to be my favorite Sushi in Virginia Beach. Absolutely great quality, packaging, atmosphere and most importantly service. Even if they are having bad day and short handed, they prove to be resilient in making sure customers come back. I appreciate all the attention to detail with the way food is packaged to go, plated and served. The decor is nice, relaxing and very clean portions are very nice compared to most sushi resturaunts. A must go if you're in Virginia Beach! A good time, good wine, sushi and location is parking friendly. A must go if you're in in Virginia Beach or passing by! Also, great spot for a girls night out/small social.

Great food and friendly service in a cozy environment!
Well priced, great service and overall hospitality, pretty tasty. One complaint is it wasn't as high quality as you might hope for with something like raw fish. This was only noticeable in the sashimi since it's undressed. I could have just tried it on an off day though. If you're looking for a sushi fix on a budget with good variety I still would recommend this establishment.
This is our favorite place to eat out at! Great service and great food. They always give us free cheesecake or egg rolls. The food is always perfect. They are so nice and sometimes they have musicians playing in there.
Great place to grab sushi without spending an arm and a leg. They typically have a guy playing piano and almost always include a few complimentary dishes on the house.

Went to an early Dinner; seating was immediate however after ordering it took QUITE sometime to receive anything bc of a "Dinner time Rush", once order was given everything was 100% Delicious & worth the wait for quality of Sushi. My ONLY REGRET; I should have ordered more Sushi. Clean & Nice elebrately decorated Sushi restaurant. Yum @ YamaChen's!
Their lunch special is awesome!! I used to work down the street I’d eat from here once a week. Now I’m down to once every couple months, but the food is still great every time.
Yama Chen's is always so fresh and tasty, and I have never had bad service at any of their locations. Princess Anne is my favorite location though. The atmosphere is cozy, and I like how they plate their rolls. Their rolls are huge, I can't even finish one. The Candy Cane roll is my favorite, and I discovered this roll only by getting a free sample of it from the Volvo Parkway location. Now it's the only one I order for myself!
