This is my first time inside this restaurant and I’m so impressed. Have lived close by for 25 years and never really noticed it. Def worth noticing! So clean, wonderful and friendly staff and awesome selection of rolls. They love giving out little bonus treats too! Just signed up for their rewards program as this is now my go to sushi place!
Today I deviated… and it was OUTSTANDINGMy husband lovingly expresses to me from time to time that he believes that I’m picky about what foods I will and won’t eat.I disagree and remind him that I just know what I like lol. But we all know how being picky makes it hard to deviate from the restaurants I already know I like, especially sushi restaurants.Yama Chen’s was above and beyond all expectations.Their fresh and flavorful food was not only mouthwatering, but generously portioned and beautifully plated.I can’t remember the last time I experienced such great tasting food.Their customer service and hospitality were just as outstanding as their food.We will no doubt be returning many times.
First time in Virginia, had the best sushi, the gentleman was great and service was top tier, loved the desing of the restaurant and boba tea was delicious, my husband and i got a lot of treats on the house! Loving place, would come back if i am around, def recommend! Also ramen is great!

This is the best sushi I have ever had and the staff is so pleasant. My daughter and I often order through door dash and everything is always so fresh and delicious. They also offer a complimentary item everytime we order or go in. Simply amazing is all I can say. Love this place.
The atmosphere is really nice and pretty, service was amazing, and the food was fast too. definitely have to try while in virginia beach

Tried this restaurant today for the first time. Best sushi I've ever tried. Highly recommend you try them, they won't disappoint.
I have been living in VA beach for 3 years and have been looking for a delicious sushi place! The ambience is soothing. The service is quick but does not effect the quality. I highly recommend their sushi. It was my first time and they gave my friend and I spring rolls on the house and a delicious cheesecake bite.
