Extremely pleasant atmosphere and wait staff. Our waitress, Natasha I believe, was phenomenal. All service was prompt and friendly.We had a mixture of drinks at our table, from regular fountain to specialty bar cocktails. All were to perfection. They even had a CBD infused drink which I'm told was excellent from two of our party members. Alcoholic drinks were done properly, and not overwhelmingly strong like many places. I would surmise the bar staff is experienced here.Food was high caliber and impressive. I personally got the fish and chips, which was excellent. All party members enjoyed their food to the last bite, and service continued to excel throughout the whole meal.I only have one gripe, and it's certainly not worth taking a star. If you like creamy coleslaw, buyer beware! It is a dry coleslaw -- not bad in flavor, but just not my personal favorite.We would certainly dine here again.
I stopped by for lunch; I waited for about 5 minutes outside because there were only two cars outside. I thought I had made a bad selection and debated whether to go somewhere else.. Multiple cars started coming in, so I decided I'd better go in and get seated. I'm glad I did, because it got crowded pretty quickly. I had the Whiskey burger, fries and a Caesar salad.Whiskey burger was flavorful and cooked as I asked. I didn't eat the bun, but it looked good and was toasted. I wish the burger was a little larger.Fries were hot to temperature, seasoned just right and plentiful.Caesar salad was tasty, it had a garlic flavor and plenty of cheese.Service was great, I was seated immediately, the waitress was very engaging and the prices were equitable.
This restaurant has some good and alot of not so great. Tonight the we decided to give this place a try since we’ve driven by so many times. It’s definitely not worth the prices they charge, and what is delivered. The atmosphere is nice, and low music tone. The food was below average. Both hubby, and I ordered a burger. Both came with bare nothing they don’t offer condiments, and then charge for them. The food was warm at best, and very plane. For the amount we paid to eat out we could have gone to Red Robin with getting better burgers with all the fixings, and then some. Very disappointed because I thought this was going to be a great hole in the wall. The server was nice but again very over charged for the food they serve.

The she crab soup is amazing, lumps of fresh crab meat. My daughter got their burger and fries and loved it. I got the ribs, they tasted good but we're a little tough. Overall great meal.
We had the steak frites and oh my lord! I can not tell you how amazing it was. I was legit sad when the plate was empty!!! Super friendly staff and great atmosphere. A must go in va beach!
I feel so foolish not visiting this place when it first opened in 2014. We’ve passed by this place for years!??♀️ Well today we stopped in for lunch. I must say I was not disappointed! We ordered the spring rolls, she crab soup, and crab sammies. The food was delicious. I can’t get over how awesome the food was. I was very impressed. We are definitely coming back. Thank you!
We frequent Whiskey Kitchen weekly. I didn't get the waitresses name and I wish I did because her service was wonderful. My daughter is on crutches and the waitress went out of her way to make sure she was comfortable by getting my daughter another chair to rest her leg and a bag of ice. Of course the food was wonderful as always, but this service made the night even better.
Loved my steak salad!! (I added the chimmichurri sauce on the side!!) So good! Also had some Irishman Whiskey. Yum!
