Short dinner menu. Only one person serving numerous tables and seating and cleaning up and getting drinks. The lasagna tasted great until I found a small blue rubber band in it. Didnât even want to bother telling the one chef who had his hands full already remaking clams for the table next door. Men bathroom door was very hard to close completely and then to open.
Isaac provided great service. The food was incredible. The reason for the 3 star overall experience was the lack of bar inventory. Wanted a Vodka martini was told they only had enough vodka for 1 drink. Ordered a Woodford Old Fashion, again only had enough for 1 drink. Switched to Bullet - staff didnât know how to make an old fashion. Ordered a bottle of wine which was tasty but they only had 1 bottle. It seems they need to look at their liquor ordering process. Not sure what restaurant that had a decent number of tables/reservations runs out of that many items on a Saturday at 6pm.
Outstanding dinner! The three of us had eggplant parmesan special, salmon dinner and Antonio shrimp. Enough to have leftovers to enjoy another night. Isaac was a wonderful waiter. Ronnie has been our waiter for previous visits. Heâs also wonderful! The chef is fabulous! Not our first time there and definitely not our last!
Small quaint restaurant with prompt service. Last minute decision, dinner for two. We enjoyed and would recommend.
First time at When in Rome. Visited on a friend's recommendation. Impressed with the food and service but found friendliness of the staff beyond expectations. Eggplant Parmesan special was delicious and reminded me of similar dishes in Italy.
We absolutely love every time we come! It is a great dining experience and then food is top notch! We always receive the best service too! The chefs do an outstanding job! If you have not tried When in Rome, you must! What are you waiting for?!
Very good, but missing the flavor "wow" factor. I'd certainly go back, but only when in the immediate area for other business.
They only had one waiter for the restaurant (I guess everyone is short staffed nowadays). The food was good always consistent. But oh man the blueberry cheesecake was exceptional. Give it a shot, it’s low key and delicious.
Really nice place, small dining area but lots of personal care. Will go again in future.
Great Italian food. Restaurant has a neighborhood feel.
