By far one of the worst experiences at a food establishment in a long time. The girl taking our order had no personality and really showed she didn’t want to be there. She was so slow and was very rude. They forgot to give me my drink with my combo meal and stuff of my fiancés. They were out of lids for cups and the ketchup container was empty too. The soda machine had no ice and more then half the soda choices were empty. I’m glad I’m from out of town and don’t have to worry about going back there again. STAY AWAY!
Dine in full staff but had to wait for service. Seven on drive thru and no one on the front for a while. The front person was rude and extremely slow. When I picked my order they were out of an item but did not tell us until pickup. Couldn't prove I ordered it because I was never given a receipt and the cashier acted as if she couldn't remember five minutes ago. Ordered a chicken sandwich but the bun had ketchup on it that was scraped off as it were a mistake. Worst visit ever at a Wendy's. Management here is a disgrace. Wouldn't give it one star really.
Just came through the drive thru with a very large order. The lady taking my order was very nice and polite. You could hear people in the back getting frustrated after the 5th thing I ordered. (Trust me when I say I understand) for as large as my order was I didn't spend as much as I thought I would have. It all came out hot, and everything was correct. I'm sorry to the people who are working there that I came late with an order that big but I do appreciate you guys
I know they were kinda suspect of me asking for all my food fresh but when u have had so many bad experiences with Wendy's its what you do but this Wendy's by far is the best. Went there today was the first in line. The best services. They asked me stuff that u don't hear in norfolk like single or double small medium or large. I was taken back. My food was great service was great and I will go to Wendy's on independence anytime. Thank you for the great experience. My son was happy. If I could I would give 10 stars to drive thru sevice
I'm essentially taking one star off each for two issues. One star was that my last order was pretty royally messed up. The workers were kind so I didn't make a big deal out of it or anything, but it wasn't exactly a good meal. Two is that this location is very difficult to get in and out of. I can't think of a worse location for a fast food restaurant that I've encountered. The only ways to get in are via an interstate highway exit, by turning left off independence and immediately braking to be able to turn in, or by being on that exact road going that exact way which is basically only if you're leaving Best Buy.
Can I just say wow ! Just casually scrolling reading the reviews on this location and thought I would give you all some feedback since I was actually employed here about a few months ago . With this specific Wendy’s you never know what type of service you’ll receive, ngl sometimes we were great getting the food out quickly as possible correctly and other times not as much due to shortness of staff . I absolutely love Paula ( general manager) she’s the sweetest however… she has a huge issue with controlling HER store . She’s fully aware of the bullying and drug use within her employees . The manager I suppose everyone in the reviews are talking bad about , her name is Melissa … she smokes sometimes before coming in , lots of time she made fun of other employees including myself in my face and made me feel uncomfortable at times which was the reason why I quit .As a 17 year old at the time getting made fun of by a 40 year old felt embarrassing I cried in the restroom so many times bc of this lady. She’s mentally unstable … I’ve personally seen her walk out and call the store manager and threat to go home multiple times whenever she becomes stress . Paula just tell her to rest for a day and she’s comes back like nothing happened haha and next week she’ll snap again Ahhhh theirs literally so much I can say … definitely mixed feelings about this restaurant . The food is fresh and great but they just need to work on customer service … oh and please if Melissa ever argues with any of you please don’t be scared of this lady haha she’s all talk !!! Their were ton's of time when the customers get aggressive back with her she’ll go to the back of the store and cry/ complain to everyone how she’s going to quit and go back to school LMAOOO
This has to be one of the nicest Wendy's very nice people Someone came out to my table even while I was eating my salad to make sure everything was OK Across the street from Best Buy I would go out of my way to go to this Wendy's The whole staff seemed like they were in tune to their guest
We had to wait about 20 mins in driveway. I was driving a truck and it was not sensor at front., after waiting we drove up to window and order the meal. Everything else was fine.
Okayy so me and my coworker went for lunch my first time not hers. So the cashier who was new was so pleasant and friendly. But the people actually making the food were thee worst...dude doing the fries had no mask or gloves. I didnt want him touching my food so the cashier got it for me(the new lady) Girl making sandwiches looked so angry. But come on now you know better you do better.
This spot I breeze through whenever I’m in town. They have a thing with exact change, Lucky for them I keep a gaggle of change in my movable ashtray. French fries made to order and the baconator ? was just right. Customer service was good.
