While the food, when you can get it, is good, the service is not. Art, our server, never came to check on his tables and when he brought food he had to be reminded of the order since parts of it were forgotten. Numerous orders going in and out, and it took 2 requests for the other half of a meal before we gave up. Though they did ask if we wanted it to go as I'm standing in line to pay. No, I wanted it when I was sitting down eating 20 minutes ago. No inquiries if anyone wanted refills of coffee, tea, water, etc.
Well the place seems very busy at all times the staff was very knowledgeable the cook seemed grumpy an older gentleman but there were two Cooks at the one Manning the bacon and sausage Grill and the other one was doing the waffles and eggs and toast but overall the actual location really needs a good scrubbing I know it's a 24-hour place but they really need to stop for at least 15-20 minutes and really give a good scrub down on the floors and the grill area the food was mediocre but that always depends on the cook I don't think I'll be going again although again the staff the young ladies were wonderful under the circumstances
Pearl and Andre held it down! They powered through being notably understaffed. I have been running restaurants for years, as an owner or manager you have failed this location. You should have either been here or made sure you had the staff. Be thankful you have two passionate employees that surely should have walked out but persevered. Know your employees worth and accordingly support them or you will find that they will find someone who does. Employees dont leave bad situations, they leave bad leaders! Tighten up! Pearl and Andre are what businesses around the world who are closing wish they had standing tall and facing the challenge before them. I will definitely be back to see them or follow where they go. Diamonds amongst a sea of coal!!

Most people don't expect much from WH, but this was a very pleasant experience. The food was what I wanted but it was the people that made the difference. Very friendly and attentive. I'll go there again, next time I'm in Virginia Beach.
