My mom an I came here after a concert an the waitress we had was vee an she was way to bust flirting an talking with her friends an going outside we got half our food and then about 10mins later got the half of our food which was cold and gross the coffee was luke warm and it took the entire time we were here to get a warm cup of coffee. I will never come back here the tables were disgusting they were sticky and gross. I literally saw a customer ask for cleaner an wiped down the table an menu that was at his table an everyone who worked here just watched it happen an went about regular business.
I went here yesterday for breakfast for dinner BIG MISTAKE I got a breakfast that reads egg special 2 eggs with toast and grits, hashbrowns or tomatoes. I don't eat meat so it was perfect. Grits eggs toast and hashbrowns is what I thought I ordered reading this from the menu and going with the wait staff suggestion. When I got my food: Eggs, toast and hashbrowns I asked about my grits and I was told that I ordered hashbrowns so I don't get grits and that they have been noticing that the menu was worded wrong. ? This was suggested to me by staff who didn't say the menu is worded wrong and I only get to choose between toast or grits and hashbrowns or tomatoes. And apple juice comes in 2 kid size juice boxes ??♀️ I still tipped as I know how wait staff are paid and my blessings won't be blocked but I won't be back!
I arrived with a 20 meal order during teacher and staff appreciation week. The staff and manager were very helpful in guiding me through the best options and they cooked the food as fast as a 20 meal order could be prepared. ? It was organized and everything we ordered was ready. I noticed some of my staff going on their own time after that, which shows how tasty the food was!
This experience was great! My normal Waffle House review is as a Father. This one is as a truck driver.I look for Waffle House because they are reliable. They may not be seating but you can still do takeout.The two guys working tonight were awesome. Order was right. Food was hot. There was a guy in there with no money. They didn't treat him different because he didn't have. Another customer paid for the sandwich. Just a great experience all around!I took the below photo at the convenience store next door but it fits the vibes that night.
I just left out of here at literally 10:45 and the service was awful. My server was a sweet older woman who just clocked in and she was amazing she was just really busy. My problem was with Mrs. Amanda My mom asked her multiple questions and she was so rude the first time she responded by pointing and the second time my mom asked for a bag where she literally ignored her and kept walking so I grabbed her a bag from behind the counter. This is ridiculous.
Would rate a ZERO if possible. Walked in to the Waffle House on North Hampton Blvd at 12:27 pm and was told to sit anywhere. I looked at the tables and counters and ALL were dirty with dishes. My party stood and waited for six minutes and again, we were told to sit anywhere. We chose a dirty table and sat cautiously. There was only 3 customers in the restaurant, 2 waitresses, and a cook. One waitress stood at the jukebox, the only danced behind the counter and the cook talked and laughed with the waitresses. My party and I waited 18 minutes, never to have had our table cleaned nor acknowledged. We left. This is a Waffle House that I frequent on a weekly basis. Never again. Going to try my luck at the Wesleyan location.
Food and service were great. We waited longer for a table then it took for our food to arrive. This is not a complaint...it was worth the wait
Server was food but something about hair in my food does not set well with me. The server did remove the meal from my tab without argument. Considering I didn't eat a 1/8 of it. Glad hair was discovered early
You gotta love waffle house!!! Its cheap and its really good food. No waffle house in the history of waffle house ever has or ever will be clean but they consistently make really good food and its just a comforting and welcome environment. The person I ate with said waffle house continues to be his favorite restaurant for breakfast even over IHOP and Dennys and others so that says a lot. Great job :)
Perfect any day of the year. I continue my New Years tradition of Waffle House for the last day of the year. You know what your going to eat.
