This was a pleasant surprise. I was not expecting the quality of food and taste. My family members had ramen dishes, and i had the rice bowl, which was awesome. It is definitely not the traditional fatty, porky, thicker bone based ramen broth, but the bowl was creative and tasty. The dumplings and wontons in hot oil, was just ok.Don't be fooled by the location or the exterior of the building, we had great service and great food. Highly recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It was not traditional Japanese ramen, but delicious non the less. The duck ramen soup was delicious!! It was light yet flavorful like all the dishes we had (Gyoza, Beef Curry, and Wonton soup). The General Tso's chicken was amazing too! The sauce seemed to be home made. I can't wait to return to this hidden gem!

This was a random find on Google maps and we were not disappointed. It was not traditional Japanese ramen if thats what you're looking for, more like Chinese style but it was delicious. We also ordered appetizers and loved the beef salad appetizer and calamari. The beef salad is more like a cold appetizer of just meat so don't get it you want it for vegetables but it was delicious. The calamari batter was so good that I didn't need to dip it in the sweet duck sauce. We will go there again for sure to try their other dishes.

Amazing food! The beef salad seasoning was out of this world. Shrimp Ramen was delicious.

Spicy Beef Ramen best non Japanese Ramen I've ever had. Curry Chicken was great. Fried rice bowl was fantastic. The restaurant is clean, doesn't have an odor like other places and their noodles are hand made. I love it. Definitely get what you pay for with this place. Twisted Cafe absolutely deserves more recognition for what they create.

What a gem. This place is a small but clean hole in the wall kind of restaurant with roughly 7 tables. They serve hand pulled Lanzhou noodles that are to die for. The tenderness of the noodles is perfectly chewy. The soup broth is rich and amazingly light on the stomach. The pricing is also very good; I paid $11 for a massive bowl of duck ramen and I had enough left over afterwards for a whole extra meal. This place is absolutely fantastic and I will definitely stop here any time I’m in the area.

This place is a hidden gem. A real family run business with incredible food and service. The Ramen is the best in VA Beach easily. The ingredients are fresh and everything is prepared with care.

I had their shrimp ramen and my friend had their pork ramen. It was so bland and disgusting we ended up throwing most of it out. 100% not worth the price. I like eggs so before throwing it out I tried the egg on top and literally gagged because of how gross it was. The shrimp was completely bland and they left the bone in my friends pork. Not only would I not recommend this restaurant, but I recommend that people not go here

Absolutely fantastic... Spring rolls full of flavor...crab wontons outstanding the duck sauce is even great. Husband had fried rice it was the best...now the ramon was the best i ever had and that bowl was jam packed with yumminess.. Its a hole in the wall dont let the older center its in scare you...the inside is clean decorated and inviting...its small but nice. Travelers give them a chance take the 4 mile drive from the beach rip off places.

Excellent food. The ramen is handmade! Definitely one of those hole-in-the-wall places to check out. My wife and I come here often.
