Sadly, this restaurant is not what it used to be. We know there had been some changes that were not for the better and decided not to go back after previously unsatisfactory experiences. My uncle told us he tried again and was pleased saying everything was great. We decided to give it another try. My daughter ordered a salami and cheese hoagie. The salami was burnt on the edges, but cold in the center and there was no cheese. The two pitchers of beer we ordered were warm. The Italian hoagie my in laws ordered was cold in the middle. The pizza crust was overcooked and so tough it couldn't be cut for my son who just had his braces tightened. Despite having brought it to the attention of the server, we were charged the full cost of the meal. We will not be going back.
Messed up my to go pizza and ruined dinner. All staff did was say we're sorry. They're right they are sorry. Benn going here for over 20 years. New owners, will never go back.
Sadly, Toni's is no more.Been going here since 1982. Literally hundreds of times. Their (previous) pizza was very unique and most people loved it.Apparently the new owners have changed the recipe. It's not only different, it's just not good. Why would you buy Toni's with a name and reputation tied to their recipes and then change it? Would you buy McDonald's and change the french fry recipe?I had heard from several people that they changed their pizza and that it wasn't good. However, I went into it with an open mind. I'm simply not a fan.
Ordered supreme pizza to go with no green peppers. Got home and pizza covered with green peppers. All I got from staff was we're sorry. I will never go back.
If your going to advertise since 1976 you should've not changed the recipe. I was looking forward to the sliced meatball sub and flavor. The pizza was good but it wasn't Toni's flavor. Toni's was the only connection to the old Milton's pizza same recipe. Disappointed. The food was good but it cant replace the original Toni's.
I have been going to Toni's Pizza SINCE 1977!!! I lived in the area as a kid- enjoyed it then- as an adult with extensive hospitality industry experience - learned to love and appreciate the quality. Always look forward to the opportunity to get a pizza when I get in back in town. One of the best, consistently INCREDIBLE FOOD.I have never been dissatisfied. IAn absolute must.Highly recommend.
Surprisingly good. We asked for a thin crust which the pizza artist, Tony, said they don't have on menu, however he did take little extra time to thin out the diameter. We are certainly going back.
Have tried three times since new ownership took over. Staff is nice enough. But, pizza not the same. Crust not nearly as good. Overall pizza taste is mediocre. Not near as good. It definitely misses George and his previous staff's touch. Wish they would have kept the pizza ingredients and recipe the same. It used to be one of the best. Now just average. Might as well just order Papa Johns or Pizza Hut now. If they ever bring the old pizza recipe and ingredients back, I will be back.
Delightful pizza slice light on the sauce heavy on flavor, grand finish with that crunch in the crust we all love. I was on a small visit and ordered the small pepperoni with some drinks and ate the whole thing. ? They also had a sit down retro game console my daughter was playing and one of the staff was nice to show her how to, great staff also, and that's just as important as the pizza these days.
Same old story. New owner. Food is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. JUST CHANGE THE NAME ALREADY! Been going here for 30+ yrs. Got a steak and cheese ( my favorite sub at my favorite place). What I get is this sad little bag meat ( yeah, I actually saw dude pull the pre cooked, pre chopped steak out of bag) sub. I should have just left right then. It was garbage. I only ate 1/2 the sub. It was that bad. JUST CHANGE THE NAME ALREADY. The original owner spent 30+ yrs creating this awesome 30+ yrs Toni's Pizza legacy. And they destroyed it in 1/2 a sub. Bye Toni's Pizza. Thanks for the memories
