The Bagel Baker makes a REALLY good (my local favorite) bagel breakfast sandwich. The BB on broadway (sausage, egg, cheese & a hash brown) on their everything bagel is my go-to.Who am I comparing their bagels to? I have had fresh bagels/bagel sandwiches from Long Island, NY, Westmont, NJ, NYC, & locally Brooklyn Bagels in VB.Westmont, NJ had my fav bagel sandwich, which I got pork roll, egg, cheese & a hash brown on an everything bagel. The Bagel Baker has my fav bagel sandwich AND everything bagel locally. While Brooklyn Bagels in VB has really fresh bagels with cool selections, such as the Hawaiian roll bagel, The Bagel Baker is still my #1 choice for the everything bagel out of ALL the places I have tried and is my #1 choice for a local bagel sandwich!

If you’re looking for the best prices in town, come to the one and only Bagel Baker! For a low price of $11 you can get a bagel that’ll chip your front teeth, a cold egg that looks like it’s been preserved using Egyptian methods, soggy hash browns, and a thin slice of plastic cheese to top it off. In times like these you may think that inflation is the root of these price hikes but no. It’s actually because their bagels are shipped fresh from New York each week per a conversation with a worker a while back. Of course! That all makes sense! Now the only thing I’m left wondering is why every bagel place doesn’t do “import” bagels from New York. Now, maybe I’m wrong here. Maybe I’m getting a deal of a lifetime, so let’s look at a comparable bagel store just a few hours away. Sausage, egg, and cheese from my university bagel shop is $4 with tax (it must be because they don’t import their bagels fresh from New York). Vote with your dollar and take your money elsewhere if you have a brain.Long story short, who should shop here? I would say this place is best for financially responsible budgeters in their mid 20’s (millennialeqsue) that are looking for a high quality, pick-me-up breakfast in the morning or VB chillers.

Found this place on line. Always on the look out for lox. Served open face, on both bagel halves. Generous portions, had to save one for later. Well worth it. Enjoyed the old New York murals. Would have appreciated not being served everything wrapped and packed in paper bag, like a take out order.

Coffees great! Bagel decent. Customer service not so great! The girl at the front was just straight rude. No good morning, no smile. If she doesn't want to be there hire a new front desk person. She obviously does not want to work. That turned me off the most. 1st impression is very important! I'll come back because I like the sandwiches and coffee but not the service. Cheers!

Customer service was amazing and the bagel was tasty. I will be coming back.

We LOVE the Bagel Baker a disproportionate amount. It's consistently excellent food, and I'm greeted with a warm smile. If you are looking for an egg sandwich, I highly recommend their turkey bacon and adding an extra egg. I don't even like turkey bacon, but theirs is amazing.

Decent breakfast sandwhiches. Decent prices. The bagels.... not so good. Well, they were okay "bagels" but nothing like a good bagel one would get in New York. Also, they were inconsistent. Some were very dense, thick, chewy; others were more airy. Lox was good, and was plentiful on the sandwich. The cream cheese had taste. Very few capers, and the tomato on this day was not very good. The ham and egg sandwich was good. Atmosphere was so-so. Some tables with "pictures of NY on the wall".

bagel baker has gone completely down hill over the past year, and it just keeps getting worse. For one, the bagels are either cold or burnt most all the time. That is not even the worst part though…The service is absolutely awful. The workers in the past have been kind and charismatic, but now that is not the case AT ALL! I called in to place a to go order last week and the lady on the phone claimed that I “needed to stop calling in my order” in an aggravated tone and preceded to tell me to order online, despite the fact that I was driving and was unable to do so, especially since I am a young driver. Once I came in to pay for my food the same lady practically yelled at me and made me feel awful. As she complained that she “can’t take all the phone calls at once.” I was not going to do anything about it, but today there was another complication. I placed my order online today, as I was rudely directed to do. When I went to pick up my food the same lady informed me that I had ordered decaf coffee and asked if I meant to do that, I said no and instead of giving me a regular one, I was told I had to pay for an entire new coffee. To make matters worse, the lady was not intending on giving me the coffee I originally payed for, costing me more money that I was not aware of.Moral of the story is that the service is AWFUL most of the time, and I do not want to waste my money on this business anymore. It is not worth it.

This was my first time visiting The Bagel Baker and definitely won’t be the last. The associates were very friendly and helpful even though I went on a busy Saturday morning. The store was nice and clean and I loved all the old pictures of NYC. I got a blueberry bagel with cream cheese and can’t wait to try other items from the menus.

Tasty bagels with amazing sandwich creations! Bagel chips with cream cheese are a special treat! Craving chocolate? Try the Double chocolate muffin!
