My husband had crispy pork served over shredded cabbage that he thought was very good. I had drunken noodles and requested a substitution for 2 of the veggies and they were very accommodating. (I really wanted to try the jungle stew, but was recovering from some awful she-crab bisque that I had elsewhere 3 days earlier. Plans are to go back for a bowl at the end of the week.) The drunken noodles were extremely good. They had a good assortment of drinks. My husband had a rum runner and I had a Moscow mule. The drinks were tasty with good quality liquors. Our server spaced diners appropriately and the background music was enjoyable. It was a good level for table conversation.
This was such a great dining experience! Everyone is so nice, friendly and helpful. We had reservations and were seated in appropriate time. The waitress helped us with menu questions and recommendations. She was so cheerful and kind. The food came out fast and was absolutely delicious! My 3 year old loved his soup and shrimp. He's usually so picky. My daughter got red curry, my boyfriend got pad Thai and I got the basil dish with tofu. We will definitely come here every time we stay in Virginia Beach.
Got the Drunken Noodle. Good taste overall. A bit more expensive than other Thai restaurants but very good quality.
Best Thai Restaurant in the area! Nice friendly staff and consistently delicious food.
Food is fantastic. I’m just super annoyed because I drove all the way to pick up a to go order and they got one of the orders incorrect so I stayed and waited for them to fix it - when I got home I realized they forgot to add the rice for my curry after I specifically made sure rice was on the order. I’m def hormonal because I’m pregnant but it’s just sooooo annoying. I was so looking forward to this meal and now I’m really disappointed.Update: it’s been 4 months since my initial review and I have continued to order from Thai Arroy on the basis that I know it’s a hard time getting enough staff and supplies with Covid but I will sadly be ordering from another Thai restaurant from now on because we still have not had one order come correct
DISCRIMINATED AGAINST MILITARY FAMILY WITH DISABILITY After answering a battery of inappropriate questions well outside of the legal questions about my service animal the owner/chef felt the need to come out to our table in front of anyone and tell us that service animals are only for people who cannot see. He demanded we provide him with documentation for the service dog (which is not only not legal, it does not exist under federal law) I explained that he is for a cardiac condition and the man rolled his eyes and said that was not real. He then proceeded to say he would "allow us to stay this time" but that we would not be allowed back. I responded telling him that was not legal. and said he's been doing this for 15 years and yelled something at us in front of the restaurant and then walked away yelling "JESUS". It was beyond embarrassing and ruined our date night as well as almost set off a cardiac episode. You would think that was where it ended but then he refused to accommodate a simple request for fried rice with scrambled egg saying he was "too busy" and our food took forever to come out let alone for us to be able to place our order. This level of ignorance and treatment of people with disabilities is inexcusable for a business owner. There was no need after we were seated and had answered the questions from his other staff that he needed to come out and continue to harass us and even if he wanted to ask the same questions which are legal his behavior was inexcusable and if he continued we would have called the police due to his yelling and harassment. We would have gotten up and left but he was blocking the exit as well as I could not stand or walk because of my elevated heart rate due to his behavior and treatment. Luckily the younger staff member came to provide an empathetic tone to assist our family otherwise we would have left after I could walk and if you are treated this way by any restaurant you can report them to the Department of Justice ADA and they can investigate and fine the business up to $50,000 which is why I urge every business owner open to the public to actually know the law regarding service animals and rights of individuals with disabilities.

Everything from start to finish was exquisite. The staff greeted us warmly, like we were guests in their home. The satay was like on a bed of lettuce with delicately sliced purple onions and cilantro and cucumbers with the most flavorful authentic peanut sauce I've ever eaten. The very fresh spring rolls had a great sauce with some bite. The entrees were generous and perfectly prepared (green chicken curry with about six or seven vegetables and eggplant with tofu). I wanted to eat my whole curry but also really wanted to have the rest for leftovers so I could enjoy it all over again tomorrow. We ended with a wonderful rice pudding with coconut milk, baked in an oven and served in beautiful small dishes. This place is a work of art.
Rude and unprofessional staff, not sure how they stay in business with that attitude. We went to the place and the hostess approached us in a rude manner to tell us that have no tables and did not even asked us if we can wait.
