I’ve been here quite a few times with friends and the food is always good. There are so many varieties of sushi to pick from, all made fresh and with great tasting ingredients. There’s also some kitchen entrees for those who don’t eat sushi. It’s all you can eat for around $20ish bucks, which isn’t bad. It gets busy, but the service is still on point.
Been eating sushi for 30 yrs now.....Very average at best, but what can you expect for $16.99. They try to avoid putting fish in their rolls, they are basically rice rolls with bits of fish in them. They even water down the soy sauce, very obvious Mr. cheap owner... Sushi chefs are from Mexico. Only bright spot was the waitress, the gyoza, and ramen noodle dish. If you are looking for good sushi, go somewhere else.
Great food and amazing service. Honestly the best place to get Asian food cause you get to try anything you want without being stuck with it. If you don't like it, you can try something else without losing any money. It's all you can eat for $20ish dollars a person. Honestly a great deal and surprisingly big selection on everything, even ice cream! Only down side is the service was a bit slow
The wait was a little long but it can be expected for a Saturday night. The staff was extremely nice and quick about getting what you wanted to your table. It's all you can eat but the sushi was incredible definitely will return again.
This staff and management are well deserving of your service, they were polite and on time. The manager went around asked each table how they were, and even took a drink off my bill that was not as advertised.I recommend this for your sushi desires.
The atmosphere is good, comfortable. The food is second rate at best. Most of it seemed like like it had been prepared well in advance and held beyond the point of quality. Sushi is generally an a la minute process every minute it sits it loses the quality. And folks, season the rice and the sides. Japanese food is delicious. Japanese cardboard not so much.....
This place is good for a sushi buffet. Overall the food was good, not the best obviously cause it’s all you can eat but definitely some nice tasting items. My favorite roll was the amazing roll and least favorite was any of the fried rolls (they had to much rice). Gyoza was good. Peppered tuna would have been amazing but had to much pepper. I will ask for no pepper next time. Also has a huge ice cream freezer selection. Service was also very prompt and offered modifications on some items which was exceptional. Will be back here again.
The food and service was great until the sushi chef Called a customer a faggot in Spanish!!! Shame on you Sushi King!!! I will never go there again! I will tell everybody I know about this experience!! I told the Manager and Kitchen Manager. They took off 20% of the bill. I was so upset and angry about what happened. I hope they do the right thing and terminate this person!
Seeing these disrespectful reviews from confused customers, I had to add my review, me and my family been to different sushi locations even restaurants and out of all of them, this particular Sushi King is our favorite, the managers are so respectful, they greet you when you enter, when you are seated and when you leave, the wait staff as well as the sushi staff are all friendly. The atmosphere is amazing, not one time did we experience any issues, the food is always good and fresh. So all of the negative reviews I've been reading, I don't buy it and I don't believe it. Respect to Sushi King at Centerville Turnpike ?????
One of the best value buffets that I have been to. However, weekends are always dinner price- something not really well advertised. The sushi rice was excellent. The options of rolls was great. Hibachi was good too but really what makes the place the best is the waiters! They were so friendly, funny and nice! ^-^
