Great breakfast! Waffles and pancakes were delicious! Mango mimosas were refreshing! Can be busy at times....wait was 30 minutes and 0 minutes. Clean and friendly staff.

Food was good, but not great. Strawberry pancakes are just pancakes with sliced strawberries on top & that was disappointing for my daughter. Maybe other items are better because it was busy.

Both the Crab Cakes Benedict and the Meat Lovers omelet were excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and stopped by a few times during our meal to ensure that our coffee was topped off and we had the necessary condiments. We would recommend Sunnyside.

We had breakfast here this morning and it was really good. Eggs were cooked as ordered, the waffle was really really good and the service was excellent. Would recommend.

We stopped here for breakfast on a visit to Virginia Beach. We were greeted by a friendly staff as we walked in the door. The cafe was clean and we were seated right away. We ordered the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel, home fries, Belgium nutella waffles, o.j. and a mango mimosa. Our order came out pretty fast and the food was delicious. We would go back and we would recommend this place.

The restaurant was not crowded and the staff was sufficient for the size. I waited twenty minutes for someone to come to the front and the manager (Gus) took 4 pymts b4 asking me how many. Then he proceeded to seat other guests before me. I explained that I was feeling faint because I'm pregnant and I needed to be seated . Gus told me "I know what I'm doing" and asked me to wait outside with my children. I asked to stay inside and he told me it was a fire hazard though this stroller blocking the door was not. Once we finally got our food he so kindly told my children "Hurry up and eat guys so u can get going." I've visited Virginia Beach since I was a child and I've never had an experience like this. Our waitress and trainee waiter were nice and the pancakes were good but my taste for this restaurant is ruined. Never again. Check the covid details for a real treat.

This has become our spot for brunch when staying at the beach. This time we were seated quickly and enjoyed another good brunch. I had french toast, fried potatoes, bacon, and sausage links. My companion had eggs (the restaurant was able to accommodate the special request for boiled eggs), bacon, fried potatoes, and toast. We knew the food would be good, but the highlight of our visit this time around was chatting with Jack, our attentive, efficient, conversational, and humorous server.

We went for breakfast and were quite pleased. We were able to park on the street ( there is a lot in back of the restaurant). The restaurant itself is new and clean. The staff was attentive and pleasant. The drinks were good. The food was above average. A very pleasant experience!

The food was delicious. We went here because they have a lot of gluten-free options. My daughter has a gluten allergy, and this place had quite a few items to pick from. She loved it; they took extra care, bringing her prepacked butter because they said the scoop they used might have touched things that weren't gluten-free. The 4.00 mimosas before 11am were great. Kathy was our server and she was absolutely the best. We will definitely be back.

This place has very good food at the BEST prices Open 7am to 1:30 ... Really 2 eggs toast or pancakes with home fries for 5 dollars
