We are regulars at this location, and like to sit outdoors to drink our orders. In the summer, shade is essential. They do have 2 nice shaded tables; however, for the past few months, the same gentleman (who appears not to be a customer, as he brings food with him and goes next door to McDonalds for drinks) is taking up one of them, with 2 laptops plugged in next to him, all day every day. Now there appears to be a second gentleman doing the same thing. I like the baristas and it's a good store, but this is annoying, as a paying customer.
There are a lot of Starbucks (and coffee shops) in and around Hampton Roads, but this particular location has to be filled with the friendliest baristas around! I'm certain that I was greeted with a smile by every employee there this afternoon, and was thanked for my service (I was in uniform). They were friendly and helpful in answering my questions. I'm glad it is close to my hotel; I'll definitely be back!
The employees are some of the best around. Always positive and courteous. Really sets an example.The price gouging from corp is out of control and keeps me away.
This is one of the more consistently good locations in the area, but they do have some issues with quality control of each drink, but the flavor is normally good enough that you can look over the flaws. I will say that they are normally the friendliest location in the area and it's definitely worth coming here.
The coffee was good, the food was good- of course because it’s Starbucks! But clearly they do not care about their employees at this store which is a red flag/concern for me. They had a girl outside in 38 degree weather in the rain taking orders. I told the girl to quit. There are other jobs out here where u can do something similar or even better in a warm, caring environment. I escalated my concerns to the manager and clearly she didn’t care either. Red flag for me! Girl quit!
Horrible service. We have never had an issue ordering a certain drink at ANY starbucks until today. When we ordered our drink, the employee, Maya (I believe, could be Mara), word for word, told the in training employee, not to make it the way we asked so they could charge us more. Never coming here again
I visited this location today and immediately noticed my drink wasn’t what I ordered. I told the lady in the drive thru that I’m sure it’s the wrong drink. She replied “just try it and see if you like it”.
This is my local Starbucks and lately I’ve had nothing but problems with this location. My drink was given to me only 2/3 of the way full! I also have asked for substitutions and gotten my drink messed up. I got it remade but there was so much attitude in the women who took my order. I was not rude or anything, I hate having things remade but my drink was no where near correct. I guess I will be going out of my way to go to another location, maybe have better luck elsewhere.

Doesn't matter how many times I complain to management, there are always items missing in my delivery order, my food is never sealed, packaging is horrible WORSE STARBUCKS IN THIS AREA
