Outside/ furniture dirty, nails and old wood laying around, wasps nests. Outdoor play area not mowed, potentially injury for kids. Play area not safe environment! If cleaned up, could be a nice environment.
All the food we had was delicious. Very friendly people and cool space. 10/10 going back again and bringing friends!
I’m visiting from out of town. Great drinks and sandwiches. Love that they offer gluten free buns do to allergy! I was in awe of the whole place that an old home was turned into a little coffee shop. We don’t have cool places like this in California! Will be back everytime I am in VA.
Really cute cafe with great seating!! Our cashier, Natalie, was super helpful in explaining all the different types of coffee they had!!

We had our Mini Cooper Group meet here. Great authentic place with a country feel of home. The honey lavender latte and avocado toast is amazing. Plenty of parking. Great service!
I really love this place, it's a little run down in need of some paint but they embraced the old house with all it's peeling paint and made it quote charming. The staff is wonderful and the food & drinks are great.
Formerly known as The Tar Roof, an art gallery that hosted many craftsman fairs/festivals with food trucks and bands. They have naturally progressed into a coffee shop/art gallery, combining the best of both worlds. It has a cool vibe of a restored old home, decorated with the work of local artists. We all enjoyed our coffee and tea, while the cookie that we shared was okay. I love the coffee and tea, but the food is a little too "crunchy" for my taste. Lots of vegetarian and hipster dishes.

If you aren’t careful you might drive right on by Sawdust Road. At first glance, it looks like a house that has seen better days. That’s part of the charm. They have excellent coffee, smoothies and food made to order. You can sit inside on couches/chairs or outside on the porch or at picnic tables. It was so good we ate there twice.
