I hate doing this because Sal's is my favorite pizza place and have been using them for years since I moved here 11 years ago, but things are going downhill. Over 2 hours waiting on my order that I placed online. Ordered at 3:45 did not arrive till 6:10 when online it said it would arrive 4:55. Food was cold and I never got my wings. You guys are way too expensive for me not to get my whole order.
I accidentally put in the wrong address which I will take responsibility for because I didn’t double check but when the person at the wrong address refused the order I felt like they could of atleast called me to let me know. I was told that the driver couldn’t call me even though they had my number. I ended just cancelling the order and asking for a refund and they told me that I either had to do it online(which isn’t possible) or wait for a manager they didn’t know when was coming in. At the end of the day I just want my money back. I admit my mistake but I don’t have my product I cancelled the order and they kept my money. I’ve been going to this pizza place for nearly 2 decades and honestly their food has gone downhill with new management. I won’t be going back.
This can't be the same Sals I use to order from religiously! The QUALITY HAS PLUMMETED! My food TERRIBLE!!!The ingredients are no where near the same as back in the day. My deluxe pizza was DRY and LACKED TOPPINGS. There was hardly any vegetables on it. It was so bare I thought I recieved someone elses order. The dough LACKED FLAVOR and was HARD AS A ROCK!!! My other pizza was BURNT. It literally was black on the crust and the bottom. The Buffalo wings were severely UNDER COOKED. They were pale white with gooey, stretchy skin. Needless to say they didn't get touched. I have no idea how they had the audacity to even send that out. The entire meal was a waste of money. I feel like I got robbed! It's definitely not Sals pizza anymore.
Awesome, just tried after moving into the neighborhood. Used their website, delivery, and got the special: x large pizza, wings, and garlic knots for $32 ish, great deal. Food was great, especially the wings sauce, the Sal's Special Sauce: Amazing. Will be ordering again. That sauce was not spicy, not dull, full of flavor, AWESOME.
UPDATE: Sal's called me bout an half later after writing this review. They apologized, I appreciate that they cared enough to call and correct the issue. Maybe just bad day or miscommunication on which extra cheese to add. My recommendation is that if your ricotta isn't seasoned, don't add extra. But really, Mozzarella is the cheese in Xtra cheese.This is a first. Ordered bianca w pep, xcheese. They put extra ricotta, gross. Xtra chz is supposed to be mozz. Anyway shocked because it was the worst pizza... No spice, bland, too much ricotta, I am literally nauseous bcuz I tried to DR it up so at a slice. Groan* normally pizza good from here.
Absolutely poor service, so I left. Went there to get a couple slices, walked in and waited a few minutes. Three folks were behind the counter and not one of them came to take my order, acknowledged I was there or even said "someone would be with you". I will not be going back.
Friendly staff, and one of the best Philly cheese steaks I've had in the area! Bread was perfectly toasted, meat wasn't greasy, made to order.
I asked for banana peppers and they put pepper chinos on it instead. Do t they know the difference. Dinner was very disappointing and we could not enjoy this for our dinner. receipreceiot
I take back my 5 stars that I gave this place .but for everyone that orders or sits down to eat ,just know about the roach problem that they have and I can tell you how many boxes I've seen with them running around in and on .not to mention how no one there really cleans anything just wipe down stuff .the owners don't care nor does management.and the guy named souf will sweet talk and say it's all been fixed when it hasn't been just covered up.i know from first hand and have seen everything there .the owners are gonna try and get this review moved because they don't want to truth to come out.Tim sell that place or ur part while ya can .
Not our first time giving this place a try but I’m sure it’s our last. Pizza was burnt, no extra cheese when we ordered it and the wings were incredibly small. Lousy dinner.
