I cannot say enough about the food here. The restaurant was packed, with very good reason.My son and hubby got the spicy miso ramen and spicy seafood udon bowls. Very comforting for that rainy day, and just what they needed (and I got a taste of each - Mmmm…).We also had several sushi rolls and they were top notch. The flavors, the freshness, it was just such a treat to have authentic Japanese cuisine.If you’re looking for some excellent sushi and Japanese fare, this is the spot!I only wish we lived nearby!!
Forgot to grab a photo. Had Spicy Ramen is was fantastic and very large portion. Ain’t gonna lie went back the next day and tried the chicken brother Ramen and forgot to take a photo again! It could not wait. I did find that the left overs that I reheated from the night before actually tasted better! Later this week I am going to grab some and test my theory again. Yep it’s that good!
My nieces (young teenagers) loved this joint! They ate ALL their food & even tried new things! We had fried cheesecake & strawberry mochi for dessert. VERY GOOD! Can't wait till the next time we return. Ny niece said, " It satisfied my sweet tooth & hunger."
Best sushi in all of va beach! Got a huge order when family came into town! Everything was delicious!!!
Customer service was exceptional and the food was very fresh and delicious! The quality was high and the atmosphere was so authentic that I felt like I was in Japan again. The family working there is so sweet and kind. Must check this place out :)
We only lived in Norfolk for a year, but once we found this place, we made it "our spot" and I miss it very much! We LOVED the atmosphere, and that the sushi is prepared by who I assume is the owner, and we were served by who I assume is also the owner. They take pride in their restaurant, and were always kind and quick in their service. Every single item we tried was fantastic and authentic. If I went back to Virginia for one day, I'd eat here for lunch and dinner, it is truly that delicious and welcoming.
This is a very good sushi and Japanese cuisine restaurant. I have been here four times over the month with my family and have received a similar service and food quality. Overall, I rate the location 7/10, service a 10/10 and food quality is 9/10 as well. Their sushi is made of fresh ingredients and some of the options would help you enjoy your sushi experience. I would recommend this place to others too.
This is such a cute spot.. I loved the atmosphere. Super clean and friendly staff. Food came out fresh and was absolutely delicious. We had the sashimi tuna, volcano & California sushi rolls, and the spicy miso Ramen this place is a must try!!!
We have tried them all. This is our very favorite place for sushi and ramen. We come here often and every single time it is perfect. The staff is wonderful and always pleasant and accommodating. Every single time it’s a 10/10, can’t say enough good stuff about this place!
We are glad to find this place! Ken and Lindsay are very kind. We enjoy their company and the customer service they provide. I brought my family here to remind us of the sushi in Hawaii. This is a family oriented restaurant and I continue to dine here because of the quality of the food whether it is the sushi or the ramen, you can't go wrong with either. Ken and Lindsay are hard-working individuals that ensure that you are taken care of. This place is a "go to place" for me and my family due to their quality and customer service. We enjoy the signature sushi rolls to include the regular sashimi and nigiri rolls. Their ramen is the closest to authentic it can be, which my kids enjoy. We never leave hungry and the environment is very welcoming! Thank you Ken and Lindsay for what you do! We are glad to meet you and very happy we found you! I would give this restaurant 500 stars :-)
