I had my wedding on June 25th, and when I say it exceeded my expectations, I am still in awe of how beautiful everything turned out. Sharon and Noel were so helpful throughout the whole process, I am so thankful for them. The price is very reasonable and they worked with us on everything. All of my guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was, how good the food was, and how friendly the staff was. Thrh even had wine and water in the bridal sweet and beer and water in the grooms sweet. I will definitely be having any future parties at the Royal Courtyard. Thanks again Sharon and Noel.
It was a beautiful venue, was going through some renovations, didn't get to utilize the whole facility. But all and all it was a lovely place. Great for weddings.
Used it for my daughter's sweet 16. It is a beautiful venue that is well laid out. It is all inclusive which took the stress out of everything. The food was really good and they'll even tweek the menu a little bit to make sure your culture is captured in the food as well. This place would be gorgeous for a small wedding as well. Go check it out, because you won't be disappointed
I cannot say enough good things about Noel & Sharon. They are such a powerhouse!!!When I say that they went the extra mile for our event, I truly mean it. Due to Covid, we had to reschedule our event 4 times...yes 4 times!!!! We went from planning a Quinceanera to planning a Sweet 16. But both Noel & Sharon worked with us and were so professional! They even took us to view another venue (in case theirs didn't work out for our new time frame and with them relocating). In terms of the venue and food, we literally had nothing to worry about. They take care of decorating so all you need to do the day of is show up. No stressing out about decorating and clean up.I loved that they were able to incorporate a Puerto Rican food menu for our guests. It was such a unique touch!The day of the event went smoothly. Sharon has a great eye for decor and made everything look flawless. I loved how she included small details that tied in with our Alice in Wonderland theme. Overall, I highly recommend the Royal Courtyard for your special event.
Our wedding day was amazingly beautiful thanks to Sharon and Noel! We intended for our wedding to be at their Royal Courtyard location, however due to the building being sold early we were forced to move to a different location. Sharon and Noel worked tirelessly until they secured a new venue for our special day at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art. We are so thankful for everything, the decor, food and professionalism were top tier! Thank you so much from Demeiko and Latesha Jones!
May someone PLEASE check the emails/voice mails. This venue is so irresponsible, I’ve even left a sticky note in the mailbox by the entrance door. I response! We’ve called and called trying to schedule a wedding back in June and now we are working on a birthday party and found this venue to be beautiful according to the photos! No one seems to be working or responsive. I would greatly appreciate a returned call or email, out of a courtesy if nothing else. Happy to adjust my review afterwards. Thanks!
I recently attended a wedding there. I was really disappointed with the venue. Some of the staff was rude, not the serving staff. The food was bland and tasteless. The ladies room appeared to be clean but it had an awful smell. The venue was not fresh it could use an update and a good cleaning. The staff had a lot of rules that made the event stressful. I hope the owner of the venue sees these comments as an opportunity to take care of these things.
We just got married at The Royal Courtyard in June and highly recommend it. It was my dream venue and I’m in love with it, from the food being phenomenal to the beautiful decor. I must say it definitely is a hidden gem here in Virginia Beach. Sharon is amazing and was so helpful and responsive the entire way through. Can't thank Sharon and Noel enough, for making our day special.
I am just getting back to NYC afer celebrating my grandmother's 90th birthday party at The Royal Courtyard and it was fabulous. I was not involved in the planning but understand that the staff made everything a breeze. The decor and food were awesome and my grandma loved her party.
We had our wedding here in February and I absolutely love this place. The owners Sharon & Noel were very friendly and accommodating making sure our day was special. The food was so good, the facility is beautiful and clean. Our reception was so romantic and classy. I was in awww when I saw everything together. Our guest had a blast and raved about the food and service. I HIGHLY recommend them for your wedding venue.
