Loved this place! I can imagine the vibe when they are packed. There is a huge selection of games to choose from and they make the process very easy. The food and drink menu had a decent amount of choices at fairly cheap prices. We had shots, a beer & pretzel bites. All were to our liking. If you’re in VA beach area you should decorate give them a try.
Friendly team and wonderful selection of games on the shelf. The environment is perfect for large groups (8-10) or just a couple people. Be sure to check out the game store—they have games that are hard to find for great prices.
I love the food and the fun and all their great recommendations for what to play next. The staff always recognize me when I come in and I know that even if I’m in a bad mood that day I’ll feel a lot better when I come in. The crab cake sandwich and creme brûlée cheesecake are my favorite.
Fantastic location and service. Food was great. Nachos well worth it. Place was packed. Shout out to Kayla. Very friendly staff and always there for you. I played magic with my buddies. Tons and tons of board games available and staff eager to teach. There is a $5 sitting fee but worth it. If your looking for a great spot to hang and eat and play whatever board games or meet people, great location. Look forward to my return.
Loved it! Really fun and great atmosphere! Yummy food, good variety of drinks, and SO many games to choose from! There's a mandatory % tip just fyi but the employees definitely earn it! They seem to really know their games and are super excited to help you choose one! The place is big enough so you don't feel crowded even when it's full. Though I do wish the tables were a bit bigger to make room for your drinks, food, and the games. I'll definitely be back!
Great game selection and helpful/friendly staff. Some solid brews on tap to accompany
Fantastic board game cafe! This place has a super friendly atmosphere and we ended up spending an entire afternoon here. The ahi tuna salad was very delicious and spicy and the raspberry milkshake was such a perfect desert. Very good beers on tap too.We played a lot of different boardgames there and even fell in love with an older game so much that we ended up buying a copy to take home with us. Such a fantastic spot to play games with friends.
We visited roll with it tonight for the first time. The idea to come to a restaurant and play games and eating seem like a great idea. The extensive library of games was great, and the customer service was excellent, but the food was trash and overpriced. Our total bill was $75, and we got some nachos where they forgot to put the queso on them. Then my husband and I got sandwiches that were $14 apiece, and they didn’t come with any sides. I understand the $5 games pass and the 18% gratuity, but the food was not worth the price. We probably won’t be coming back to visit.
Such a fantastic idea! The food was delicious and there were so many games to choose from. We played at least 6 different games. The owner helped us learn how to play some new ones. And we bought one of them too. We’ll definitely be coming back!
The staff were very friendly and attentive. I had a Chipotle Chicken Melt when I visited and if you don't know what you want, I say it's a good pick. After eating, a friend and I played one of the many from their massive catalog of games. For a $5 dollar pass to play as many games as you like, i think its well worth it. I feel like it's a great place to bring a group and that's what I plan to do for my next visit!
