Honestly I just don't understand the good reviews here. First off the wait staff was lovely and it's the only saving grace of this place.1. The salsa was flavorless and everything was just lacking salt.2. Pricing was ok but for what came out it was way too expensive.3. The overall decor and feel of the place gave the vibe of "this place was really good 5 years ago"Save your time and go to taco bell next door.

We LOVE this place, and frequent it often. The staff is great, love the margaritas, and the food is always delicious. However, the last two times we have been, it was EXTREMELY hot in the restaurant and there were flies all over the tables and food. The table we sat at tonight had a cluster of ants on and below it, as well as on my arms. Again, love the place, but the atmosphere has just been a little off lately.

My husband and I LOVE ole! It’s become our regular and favorite Mexican restaurant hands down. Every time we come, we try something new and the food is always so good!! Staff are very nice and attentive. Ever since we’ve been coming here, the owner has personally welcomed us and is always engaging with his customers which we love and appreciate. Thank you restaurante ole!!!!?We recommend the Texan burrito, Texas pineapple, coripollo, carne asada fries- some of our favorites?

We waited 45 minutes for food and then half of it came out cold. The manager came out and tried to argue that she saw it come out fresh. I offered to let her feel my meal, since at this point I was offended. She offered to warm it, but who wants it sent back to the kitchen at that point? I asked to just box it up because I wanted to leave. She apologized and said that they were busy, which I can totally understand. But looking around, there were only 4 tables filled in the restaurant. We also ordered an a la carte item and we were given the whole meal instead, and we were still asked to pay for it. A sweet waitress (not ours) apologized and helped us clean up at the end. Not a pleasant experience and we will not go back.

the place is very clean. Staff very friendly and went out of the way to please,. The food is authentic and the chef can to the table to inquire about our experience.

A friend and I visited Restaurant Ole on a blustery wintry Monday night in January 2021... when nearly every other restaurant was closed (finding a local eatery open on Mondays has become a near impossibility amid the forever pandemic). Those other restaurants loss was certainly my gain... what a great experience! Owner Nico was hands-on throughout the meal, starting with awesome margaritas and (free) chips with 2 salsas. I had Enchiladas... beef, chicken, bean and cheese, served with a side salad, along with sides of beans and sour cream. Everything was exceptional... adding this Mexi-Spanish restaurant to my list of faves, alongside Jessy's and Jose Tequila's. A+ experience.

Very reasonably priced. Low volumeon a Sunday night. If your fibroid Mexican is closed or closes early on Sunday night, easy place to catch NFL or college bb and good Mexican food. I had the 3 steak on grilled tacos with corn tortillas. Sauce was really good. Staff very accommodating.

Excellent service, good food and nice people. My group RAVED about their brisket. One is a foodie and loves to cook so I would take his word on it.As an ovo-lavto vegetarian, I can only comment on my excellent cheese enchiladas. So good!!!

We were in Norfolk for an early flight. Short stay in a local hotel and found Ole’ for dinner because we were both craving Mexican. First, I spilled my water trying to get my jacket off. I practiced my Spanish by saying “lo siento”, and our server, Ramon said “no es in problemo”. I ordered the Cuban Burrito. It was so good. But my hubby got the Burrito Bandito and the flavor was SO amazing. We ended up sharing our dishes with each other. We picked a great spot. If we have an occasion to stay in the area again we will be back. Thank you, Ole’ and Ramon!

Tasty spot! They make a good margarita (the one with fresh lime juice). I got the enchiladas and my husband got the pork dish. We'll be back.
