The food is always fabulous & the staff have always been wonderful! I took my niece for the first time for breakfast yesterday and she loved it!
Went here for a Saturday brunch.. I live in the Hampton roads area so it ended up being like like an hour and 30 minute commute from the peninsula side. This place is very close to the North Carolina state line if you don't know so prepare for the drive. They have good alcoholic beverages like crushes and mimosas if you are into that. I got the chicken in French toast. To be honest I was not blown away. The French toast was not that good and the chicken was OK. I did enjoy the grits though. What looks like eggs in the picture is actually grits lol. The sliced potatoes were good and served with some onions which I love.The inside of the restaurant is pretty spacious and they have a nice patio as well. I cannot say it's my favorite brunch spot but it does the job. I probably wouldn't go back just because it's so far for me and I was not blown away by the food. Food. I can find mediocre food closer to where I live. The presentation was definitely nice but the food was just OK I have to be honest.
Taken here by my friends and wife today. Awesome food and kind staff. Highly recommend.
Everything was amazing! Good food, great service and the portions are worth every bite! Definitely will be back!
We love this place. We would drive 30 minutes for breakfast here. Lovely and friendly cafe. Great unique coffee and latte, cocktails and food menu. A great place for family. Food is a must try if you are in the area. The southern Benedict is unique too. Biscuit and gravy is so so good with very generous sausage in the tasteful gravy.
We are very much Citrus fans so we decided to try this place out after hearing that they have really good pancakes. Food was great, portions are huge, service was fantastic. Will be back.
I’m a country girl at heart. I love any excuse to go to the rural areas of Va Beach. Redhead Bay Cafe only adds to my pleasure. Food is always amazing (I love the stuffed French toast and catfish bites). Servers are the best too. Live music on the weekends has me singing along. My only regret is that more people are learning how great this place is and causing the wait times to increase a bit. However, there are plenty of activities (cornhole, chilling by the creek or having a drink at the VIP bar) to keep one occupied during the wait.
Fantastic everything! Atmosphere, Food, Service top notch! As a former restaurant manager Ally was on point with every turn of her service. The food was excellent, the Hippy Sip drink Absolutely astonished that as a local I had not been here till today....My new favorite spot! I will certainly be bringing out my people and will consider myself a new local to the Redhead Bay Cafe!
The biscuits and gravy were to die for, and this iced s'mores latte was ridiculous but good. The white chocolate caramel pancakes are also to die for. Service was great and we had no wait on a Friday morning! I can't wait to go back.
